Some Sadako questions for a discussion
Do you think her pallet immunity is good or bad?
Before you could pair her with Spirit fury and enduring to instantly get out of power after a successful mindgame to get the hit. Now that you are immune and survivors predropp all pallets or you can‘t hit survivors, because you first have to get out of power to attack even tho you are on the right side of the pallet.
Why does she get kicked out of her power by picking up a survivor and why does her flicker stopp by vaulting or breaking a pallet: Do you think this would be too strong?
What do you think about Sadako permanently being demanifasted, but being able to attack?
Do you think longer TV cooldowns were better?
I ask this, because in her first version you could basically deny survivors completely from grabbing tapes to remove condemned, which could make it very difficult for survivors.

- Pallet Immunity is great imo. I like timing my demanifests to avoid getting stunned and manifest mindgames when survivors attempt to greed pallets. I've also had times where I demanifest right, get pushed to the survivor's side, and break the pallet before they could vault over.
- The reason she goes out of power on pickup is debatable, especially since it happened before the pallet immunity. However, I think due to the introduction of pallet immunity, it makes sense. It would make pallet saves impossible against her, which is another debate.
- Permanent demanifest? That's a good question. I could see the pros and cons of it, the pro being no TR and the cons being a constant lullaby. I would need to play a version of this to really have a strong opinion though.
- Longer TV cooldowns are always gonna feel bad, which is why I never touch Iridescent Tape. That said, balance wise, it makes sense. It just needs to be tuned just right to feel better for both sides.

Pallet Immunity is a very good addition to her kit. It opens up a lot of mindgame potential and allows her to clear pallets without eating a stun.
Her getting kicked out of her power when picking up is whatever. It'd be neat if she didn't but with the Pallet Immunity it probably should do that.
I don't think permanent demanifest is a good idea.
Longer TV cooldowns were worse.

- I don't like it, getting pallet stunned is completely avoidable and the immunity just makes her easier to play
- I don't see why you'd want to have stealth while carrying, wouldn't do that much but stun immunity while carrying would be awful, and keeping flicker while vaulting or breaking would just make her harder to track without any skill requirement from the killer player
- No, she shouldn't be able to just be permanently undetectable/invisible from a distance for free, it's good that it's a trade off and you can't just sneak up on survivors for easy hits without some kind of downside
- Longer TV cooldowns were bad but projection cooldown was a good thing, tbh imo they should just do away with tv cooldowns on projection entirely and just bring back the projection cooldown

I have a mixed feeling about the pallet immunity, because you can‘t use spirit fury/enduring anymore to get out of power fast, but except of that I like it.
Would it be a problem when she wouldn‘t be able to get stunned while picking up? You could basically call that a part of her killer power (like plage disables heals with her power).
It would definitely be interesting to test. ReversVelocity: Why do you think it would be a bad idea?
At the moment I think her cooldowns after she teleports are too short to deny survivors from grabbing tapes. I think the cooldown is 40s or 45s. I think 60s would be good, so that you can still deny survivors from grabbing tapes, but I might have the perspective of her first version, which probably doesn‘t fit her now.

Is making a killer easier a bad thing? My main complain about this is the enduring/spirit fury combo to exit her power faster.
Disagree on the second one. It could add skill expression for window/palltet mindgames and give her more opportunities to play her. I think the flicker while carrying a survivor would just be a cool gimmick, I didn‘t really think about the no pallet stun at first, but I don‘t think it would be that big of a deal.
Maybe you are right, but I thought it would be cool, because spirit also got this.
Disagree the tp cooldown was one of the worst and most unnecessary things in this game. It took away so much fun from playing this character. Having no cooldown on TVs would be interesting, but it would be a nerf and buff at the same time. The point why I mentioned it was, that you could stop survivors from grabbing tapes by turning of all TVs, which could make it very difficult for survivors to remove condemned back then.

It’s good. The reason it exists is because then pallet saves would be impossible and she would be immune to DS so she could tunnel easier.
The red stain gone longer is attached to undetectable so what you’re really asking is if the undetectable could last longer. Yeah that would sound fine to me.
Flicker after vault would be fine.
I like the current TV durations.
There’s a lot of ways I think Sadako needs improvements that are different than these things though.

Do you think the flickering while carrying would be a problem when she doesn‘t have her stun immunity? I think this could be really cool. Just for the looks.

- Personally, the pros outweigh the cons for me when it comes to pallet immunity. If you run Brutal Strength, you nearly match the same breaking speed as fury/enduring, perhaps 0.5 seconds or so longer.
- That's a decent argument for it, considering Sadako has a weak chase overall.
- Skipping the third one for it was directed at ReversVelocity
- The cooldowns are 70 seconds when a survivor takes a tape and 45 seconds when Sadako teleports to them, which to me is pretty fair. Most survivors I go against are grabbing tapes before the second teleport as it stands.

These are my thoughts exactly to be honest. Sadako still gets a lot of consistent feedback for the Devs because there is still this variation of her that just doesnt completely "Sit" right. Still too many flaws that need to be addressed. Are they big flaws? No, not really, but the sheer number of them is what is adding up to making her still feel clunky and not fun against swfs at all.

Flicker after vault would be fine.
I meant while vaulting and while breaking pallets, which would allow you to vault a window invisible. Currently she become visible when you vault.
There’s a lot of ways I think Sadako needs improvements that are different than these things though.
I agree, but I wanted to ask some things that are not already in every Sadako post.

This last version of her, before the rework, was the best. Simple to understand, albeit the reverse of her original version regarding the tapes. Not unbeatable, and not the easiest to pick up and just start winning. The decisions made on her current design are just the strangest thing. On any previous version, you could read her power description once, play a match, and then almost fully understand her. Now, you've got to play as and against her multiple times to understand what's going on with the condemned, like with the tapes, hooking, teleporting, add-ons, etc. Of all the killers who get complained about by new survivors because they don't understand them, she's at the top of the list, maybe rivaling Skull Merchant.

Shure her first rework was the strongest, but as someone who enjoyed her first version she, she lost her whole identity. Her first versions concept in short was don‘t touch my tape, while in the second/third version it is grab a tape immediately and turn off all TVs. I enjoyed the tp gameplay about her and her condemned as a secondary/optional/skillful way to play her. The first version had a good tp and good condemned. The second version had a bad tp and a better condemned. The thrird version has a bad condemned and bad tp.

Every other killer pretty much functions the same as well - Wraith has to decloak to pick up, Ghostface can still be revealed, Oni and Legion exit their powers.

Would it be a problem if she would be immune to pallet saves (it would only work if you switch back into power after the down)? They could make that part of her killer power.
If she would only flicker while carrying and not have the pallet immunity would it then be a problem?

Wouldn‘t it be cool if killers would function differently in more ways than just the power? For example when carrying, terror radius …
Shure wraith could be a bit problematic, because of his speed, but the others look fine.

i think it is because she is fun to play that is weak. it is like billy. Billy is fun killer to play but was weak for awhile. killers that are fun to play and weak get a lot of feedback.
You don't get a lot of feedback on generic killers on like dredge, unknown, artist etc.

If it was just flickering, no it wouldn’t be an issue but I don’t really see any real reason for it. It wouldn’t really change anything and just be unnecessary.

Like I wrote above it would just be a cool gimmick, which was what I thought about originally. I didn‘t really think of the stun immunity at first.
I don‘t think it would be a huge problem, but I see the points for and against the immunity.

This might only make sense for UK players, but TV licence people going to extremes sending out Sadako to get their license fee!
