New Twitch Drops (July 16th - July 30th, 2024)
Remember, you can accrue watch time from any DbD streamer, not just the official channel! So if you miss the stream, you can always stop by your favourite streamers later!

I am not linking BHVR account with Steam and the cloud just to get drops, sorry.
They rly want your data hard if they cant just make it like every other game with drops just linking your platform account (steam, blizzard, epic, etc.). There was in the past some issue that players had once they linked the account with BHVR they lost all saves, not risking even 0.01% chance.

That wasn't from linking the platform that caused that issue back then, that was from linking DBD.

I mean yea, the point is there was some issue with this when you linked it and I am not trusting that, I dont want to risk all save file from 7+ years being deleted and then hope 3 weeks to reply from Customer support to refund the BP and then spend 20 hours in bloodweb xD

I mean you do you, i'm not linking DBD to the BHVR account either because it means that if you unlink it, you lose all progress you've made while it was linked.
However, it's asking to link your platform and twitch, which means it won't affect your game data should anything happen because linking your platform to the bhvr account can't affect your games the same way it would be able to if you were to link the account directly to the games instead.

Wait, rly? So you don't have to link DbD with BHRV account to get the drops? I thought you have to to earn the drops (to make you link your game account with theirs).

No you don't have to link DBD, only Twitch and whatever platform you're on.
