Account linking not working

hi im trying to link my steam and xbox accounts, but every time i go through the process the site loads takes me back to the connections page but nothing gets linked. I have tried on multiple devices and browsers but it is the same outcom.

    For the game or just in general? Cross play isn't coming into affect until July 22nd

    in general i think ? I go to connections and go through the linking process, once i hit confirm the site loads back to the connections page but everything still says unlinked. I know cross play isnt out yet. But i was looking to link them in anticipation of the 22nd
