It's happening again

I'm not sure it's this time of the year (I think not, because if my memory serves me right, last time was on December) or what is it exactly. Game is a lag-fest (not really sure why, maybe the engine change has something to do), MMR is awful, there's a huge ton of ultra sweaty, die-hard, bully-wannabe SWFs (I'd complain about killers constantly camping and tunnelling, but that is a constant anyway) and either I check online and run a meta build as killer or I'll eat what comes out of my back end. It doesn't matter how much pressure I apply early on, gens fly. OP Lara's perk doesn't help either. It feels good when you use it as a survivor, granted, but I still think it's OP.

Every game I play feels like I'm fighting to the death, and I'm not one who usually tries specially hard nor I consider myself to be a good player (not bad either, just average). But it's either trying or just stand there like a tree unable to do anything.

As survivor, there are times at which I can loop a killer long enough to feel like I did something, whether I survive or not. Other times, they're on me in seconds, it doesn't matter which perks I'm using, how much I'm hugging the walls, or how good I mind game them. It feels like I'm playing vastly different games. Usually, those are the games in which the killer is playing cheap and lame (which I really don't get bc the game ends soon and there doesn't seem to be much challenge or interaction).

As killer, it's even worse, but I don't really feel it in me to go through it again.

Meh, I don't know, I really loved this game, but it's starting to get on my nerves. Which irritates me, because this Rift cosmetics looks awesome, and I am really looking forward to Castlevania chapter, but ugh… I don't know, I just wanted to vent. Is anyone else out there feeling remotely the same?
