Sorry but 2v8 and the free weekend should be delayed, your bugfix introduced even more bugs than it fixed.

    I've watched some 2v8 matches from the FW and the mode seems to work perfectly without any problemes. I think it is only the normal modus that has all these ugly and annying bugs. I also highly doubt they will postpone the 2v8 because they have a very strict shedule and they made a big deal with 2v8 (promotions by the FW, their own stream, special cosmetics and much more).

    The mainfocus of this free weekend seems to be the 2v8 which is a little bit akward but okay. Maybe the idea is that the new players spend much time in this one and not so much time into the normal one which means they will encounter not (so many) bugs. tbh, if new players give DbD a try during the free weekend, it is not so bad that they see some bugs because this means they can get used to these bugs straight away if they buy the game afterwards.

    However, are these bugs annoying as hell? yes! is it a good idea to do a free weekend while the game has so many bugs? no! So basically, I agree with you.
