It has Begun....but..
Already into 2v8 about two hours in and ALREADY the butthurt messages. All the negative comments. I mean come on.... it's 2 killer's against 8 survivors.. it's not that serious. It shouldn't be.
Some you all need a nap! 💤

I had a streamer complain that me and my other huntress buddy were "teaming", just because I hit him after she threw a hatchet at him.
Like no dub, there are two of us now why would we not down a survivor that runs into both of us.

But I have had some hype moments with my rando killer. I still need to try survivor side but so far I'm loving this.2 -

Why are people so angry about this mode? This is just chaotic fun. And I've seen more teamplays than ever with randoms.

Indeed, I was told off for "tunneling". And I'm like, first off I'm chasing everything that moves. Secondly, more often than not, survivors are running into me (I been playing as Naughty Bear)

On another thread somebody is complaining about being "tunneled" (he has no idea what that word means).
Trying to explain being tunneled in this mode is impossible doesn't help 😅
So yes, obviously, some people will complain for no good reason. They can be safely ignored.

Type ggs and move on, don't give them the attention they crave and they will disappear naturally. Trust me, works with every game!

I've had a couple matches where the killer slugs the last survivor till bleed out, even though it takes half a second to hook in this game mode

Whaat? Nooo, that can't be right... We were assured the only reason people ever slug is because of hook dead zones...

Just had a match with a nurse and a trapper who slugged every person, didn't hook until everyone was down. Truly…miserable. And of course had to have that " GGS! :)" Afterward lol.

Tunneling does happen in this mode as well. I’ve seen it happen multiple times to my teammates. It’s not exactly the best strategy but it does still happen from time to time.

The only problem I have with this mode is the awful que times. Survivor is fun but I have only had 2 killers matches and both had 20 minute waits. I just want to play DBD ..I usually play it all weekend. But now I can't even get into matches...2v8 can come or go I just want to play.

There is nothing fun about waiting 10 minutes for a match only for it to be over in 2 minutes because BHVR couldn't be bothered to actually think their event modes through before making them live. There is nothing fun about not getting to play the killers I like playing and being restricted to just five of them. There is nothing fun about loading into a survivor lobby where no one works on gen and instead leads one or both killers to me so that I die. There is nothing fun about playing survivor when the killers decide to slug the whole lobby.
This game mode isn't "chaotic fun," it's an unthought out mess that is nothing more than a frustrating crap show with rewards that aren't even remotely worth suffering for.

Depends on your definition of Tunneling. Because Killer's HAVE TO give chase. Which most will claim is tunneling. Which it's not.

I honestly had to wait a whole hour and some minutes just to get into a trial as killer. As Survivor it's near instant no problem.

Tunneling means that the killer has tunnel vision on a survivor.
When tunneling, a killer will only chase one chosen survivor and that survivor only until he's dead. He'll ignore every other survivor until the chosen one is out of the game.
It is simply not possible in this mode.

I know what tunneling is and I’ve definitely seen it happen in this mode. It’s obviously not as common in this new mode as it is in the regular one but it does happen.

i haven't seen people get salty and I've been playing Killer an survivor for like 6 hours. It must not be common.

Haven't played Killer in this mode yet, but as survivor I am really enjoying the 400% BP presently! It's like the Anniversary all over again!
