Dead by Daylight Cross-Progression

Hey I just tried to Sync my dead by daylight account with my Xbox but I keep on getting the We encountered a problem while syncing your progress. Try again later. Error. I saw the forums of this error and says you need to upgrade your dead by daylight account to its latest version. Only problem is that when I had that dead by daylight I had it through Xbox gamepass but no longer have it. I have proof its in my xbox game library.

I'm pretty sure the best way to sync things up is to run DBD on all platforms you own the game for, allow it to update to the current version. This seems to be the best step to get things to line up well for Cross Progression.
