Mouse sensitivity fix?

friend of mine tries to get back into the game for 2v8, but his mouse sensitivity does not change when he tries changing them in the settings. Like they dont react to his choice.

Is there any (new) fix for this issiue? i think its pretty bad that the devs let their players down even on the simplest of things, if we cant play together just because of BS like that then i dont think we will ever return to dead by daylight as long as BHVR is in control of it.

And to the mods: DO NOT, move this to bug reports. Im asking the community, im asking THE PLAYERS for help. I dont expect the dev team to help us in this short time. So if anyone from the community knows, reach out, would be highly appreciated.
