Work with your team mate for crying out loud! Stop running off and doing your own thing. It's not solo queue lol! Just played with the worst wraith player I've ever seen

If you mean to always stay together, it's the surest way to lose against a good team.
Killers need to guard one half of the map each, at least at the start or the gens will fly.

Everything in moderation, I feel. There's pros and cons for both ends of the spectrum but I don't think there's necessarily a right or wrong answer here.
Double teaming allows you to unlock the full potential of your build and brute force a survivor, but like tunneling in 1v4 it kills your pressure.
I've played enough Knights to not fear a pincer maneuver, I say bring it on. 2 killers on me is an honour. I'd actually rather have high mobility killers like Billy Wraith riding me than patrolling gens and chasing my randos
