I understand that and perhaps my comment didn't expand on that enough. I was just clarifying how disingenuous his apology sounds because it's like he is saying "I don't want to disrespect this group or cause any harm to them but I am voting for the person that could harm them because of the one issue that's important to me". Yes I know that's not what he said word for word but it's what he means.
My disappointment is when people who have been vocal allies only to become less concerned when it hits their pockets. It's the entire reason I will no longer support some streamers (which I won't name on here) that did the same thing with HL. Vocal up until it interfered with their pockets.

They actually had to get the ok for the licence from me, I will be getting all the royalties.

Just to correct this, because I have seen this disinformation going around here a few times. It was not charities, it was several politicians who held strong anti-LGBT views, and he never apologized and in fact he specifically said he does not apologize, and doubled down saying that he does not regret donating to them.

Why does donating money to a certain political person automatically mean you support every view that person has in life?
I mean a simple Google search shows he publicly stated that he supported the LGBTQ community after the incident. It also shows that he donated to multiple other political sources. By the looks of it he basically got cancelled, had to retire, had his privacy invaded, received death threats & put his unborn child in danger due to the stress of it all.
Is that not enough blood for you or would you like to continue to punish someone years later for something that he may or may not have agreed with behind closed doors.
These posts are honestly sad & pathetic. It's a game with characters that have much worse origins than some dude who just happened to donate money to some out of touch dinosaur politician. Look at what Freddy Krueger represents in the original story or why does the Clown bear a striking resemblance to one of the USA's most notorious serial killers?
If you feel that strongly about it just don't buy it. If you don't want to continue to support BHVR then move on or play with what you already own and don't purchase anything else.
