BHVR account linking (I never synced for cross progression beforehand)

I accidentally linked the wrong Xbox account 2 months ago so I unlinked it. I am attempting to link the correct xbox account but i''m getting an error telling me I can' t link a new account. The reddit FAQ for cross progression states I have to wait 60 days before linking a different account, yet the bhvr page FAQ says I cant link a different account but it refers to synced accounts. If there's a waiting period is there any way to check the duration, and if not is there a way to link a different account.

    I an having the same problem yet i waited 60 days and am still getting the same old message…

    We do not have an official Reddit so I'm not sure about the FAQ there. Cross-progression and account linking are different, but if you are experiencing account related issues, Support is the way to go: https://support.deadbydaylight.com Currently, we do not have access to check the duration on the waiting period.
