Respectfully BHVR, you gotta do better with player reporting
To give credit where it’s due, I’m so glad you implemented the reporting feedback tool. Thats wonderful. The issue is still in the hoops one must jump thru to report cheating.
I just had a match with a player who got slugged and suddenly started slithering across the map faster than the killer speeds. Myself and another player ran after them and we had to chase them all around the map because they were sliding faster than us.
I opened my recorder, clipped 30 seconds of it and reported the player after the match. I then went to the support form, filled it all in and when I try to attach the 30 second video, it keeps telling me that it timed out, took too long to upload (the bar literally filled up in 10 seconds, I have fiber internet.) So now I’m in the position of having to log into my own YouTube account, upload the video and inset a link into the form to show video proof.
This has happened on multiple occasions when I’ve reported cheaters before.
This is ridiculous. I understand needing video evidence for cheating as that’s only fair. But you guys have got to fix your report form so that videos can be uploaded from there. Currently there are way too many steps that we have to go thru to simply report a cheater and honestly, I’m less likely to report cheaters going forward because I don’t wanna deal with all the time and effort it takes on my end to do so.

I agree, and honestly, even after you do all that it feels like it's down to chance whether it even gets dealt with. I've done it a couple of times and I'm yet to get that ingame notification telling me that action was taken/it was looked at. I don't report willy-nilly either. It has to be a clear cut situation that leaves nothing up to interpretation as to whether a rule has been broken. So my only assumption is that my tickets were missed or dismissed. Either way, i wasted a decent chunk of time.

The few times I’ve reported people before I did get a reply that action was taken, but it always takes 10-12 days to happen.

That’s just silly. I think 2 weeks is still a bit much. Just because other companies are worse doesn’t mean 2 weeks is good.
