Question for any killer player who uses aura perks

When you use aura perks, and you see a survivor using Residual Manifest, how effective is it against you? Regardless of how rare it is to see survivors using Residual Manifest.

It is somewhat effective. Can be decently annoying if it procs at the right time.

I run full aura read on Huntress and I would say it is insignificant. The duration is too short to even be a slight inconvenience, I guess not seeing gen locations for a bit can be annoying. If you blind a killer while hooking then you can stop BBQ but then again you are right there and they don't need to see anyone else.

I've only ran into it 2 or 3 times in several hundred matches, so I don't have that much experience I guess.

When I'm using 'Friends 'til the End' on my build on HillBilly, it affects all my gameplay as a main lead until the end of the trial.

I don't see it often enough to care and it doesn't do enough to matter, but when I do see it, it irritates me and makes me angry enough to start getting really mean. Like Blast Mine I see it as petty pettiness for no reason, salt in the wound for no reason. It's kind of like Knockout in that sense. Let me have my aura perks, stop being petty.

It's main hindrance isn't even countering perks, but rather hiding the gen auras. I'm less likely going to be able to harass an incomplete gen. Not sure if this affects Freddy's gen teleport or not...

I feel like Blast Mine + RM would be good for countering NTH. Might give it a whirl since I see that perk alot.

I never thought I would see comments talking about its strong effect, some of you even commented that it would get angry .

It's hard to see the effectiveness of perk from a survivor's perspective so thank you for your comments.

I've never even noticed the perk so I'd say it's pretty ineffective.

The only effective perk against aura reading is "Distortion", and it makes me switch immediately to killing anyone without distortion as fast as possible to compensate.
