PC - Can't Unhook Survivor on The Game

A survivor was hooked for the first time on the top floor of The Game, in the middle area. I was not able to unhook them; the animation would play for a split second and then cancel itself out. My 2 other teammates tried as well and were not able to either. We were playing against a Trickster, I was playing Ace, I cannot remember who the other survivors were other than that they were all female survivors.
Noticing other posts that mentioning similar issues but on different maps, so posting highlight the bug can occur on The Game as well (though seems like it may be an issue not specific to any map in particular.)
