cannot link my xbox account to bhvr.

Recently i tried merging my xbox and playstation account to my bhvr account and I was only able to connect my playstation account. whenever i tried linking my xbox account it told me that a game account with identical information already exists, but my account isn’t linked to any other bhvr account and if it is i was not informed. so if you could please help me figure out this problem that would be great.
