Victor has long been dead, and the Victor we see in DBD is a twisted facsimile created by the entity.Now if you were to argue from Survivor perspective, then I would agree, it is so fun kicking that little goblin in his face.
Although… it also is fun having Chucky yell "MY EYES" and "I'm gunna break that flashlight over your freakin' head" and "Sonofa female dog" when you blind him, so it goes back over to the Chuckinator.
