Unhealth hooking mechanic and interaction is why killer choose KnockOut

At first, the carrying process is completely not fair for killers, we are playing a counter game and when you win a stage, you are supposed to win something immediately, but the system requires killers to play a small game that the opponent can disturb unilaterally to stop killer get the rewards, in any counter game it's a ridiculous design.

Then the hooking mechanic is also unhealthy in a team counter game if someone makes a mistake, they are supposed to be perpetual punishment, but in DBD, the killer gets nothing from the 1st and 2nd hook, under certain perks hooking could even be an advantage survs! It's like when you are playing a MOBA game, you get the kill but your opponents are rewarded with money instead of you. How ridiculous! I won a stage but the system rewarded my opponent! And I have to do the same things three times to actually get some advantage!

BHVR you should fix these mechanics to make the killer get some rewards from hooking, or the killer imminently has to get kills without hooking, KnockOut to bleed is just one of them!
