Trevor's Perks

Hi everyone,

Pretty new to the game here so I wanted to know everyones opinions on Trevor's perks now that he's been released for a couple weeks.

Moment of Glory and Exultation seem alright for players are good in a chase, though it kinda seems like MoG takes a LOT of time to activate (Time to open 2 chests + 60 seconds) and thats only if you survive the 60 seconds.

Eyes of Belmont seems decent if youre running perks like Alert or Fogwise, but Im not sure if I'd slot it over other aura perks like openhanded or kindred.

Have you guys been using/liking these perks?

Id be interested to hear if you've made any fun builds around them

None of them are worth running.

Moment of Glory: 2 chest searches and 60 seconds per health state is horrendous. It's outclassed by almost any other healing perk. And if you're looking to heal up mid chase, a medkit + syringe is much quicker, more reliable, and doesn't take up a perk slot.

Exultation: A cool effect but not actually useful in most matches. Medkits don't differ much between rarities and so aren't worth upgrading. Upgrading a toolbox past Commodious is also not worth it. Keys and maps aren't worth bringing at all so count them out. And that leaves flashlights as the only item worth running with this perk. As for getting more charges from items, there are other perks that do that better and more reliably.

Eyes of Belmont: The aura reveal on generator completion is nice, but the +2 duration is a bit of a noob trap IMO. Running multiple aura reveal perks is wasting slots.

    Wouldn't recommend, personally

Not good for newer players, but I've been running them.

Moment of Glory, Exultation, Appraisal, and Ace in the Hole/Smash Hit/Any Means.

Eyes of Belmont is fun in an aura build like EoB/OoO/Scene Partner/Alert. Sometimes I switch out Alert for Dramaturgy. It's a good build if you're decent at running or maybe EoB/Head On/Strength in Shadows/Lucky Star.. although the last few games, I switched out EoB for Wicked and that's been pretty funny.

I play with friends though. Sometimes without comms, but still.. YMMV if you go solo with them.

Moment of Glory needs some buffs. In it's current state, you have to be leagues above the killer's skill level for it to work. Plus, the chest search progress reseting after downs is just the worst.

    Exultation doesn't need a cooldown.

Eyes of Belmont should have a different aura reveal instead of Wish version of Dark Sense. For example, revealing the killer when a survivor gets injured.

    Bad perks, not worth it.

Moment of Glory needs a buff to it's timer.. at max 45 seconds.

Eyes of Belmont is basically old Dark Sense with the Lethal Pursuer secondary effect. I find the Perk quite fun with Alert, Fogwise and Object. On it's own.. useless.. I'll rather use Dark Sense which already isn't good.

Exultation is just flawed. Interesting idea but really useless. If I want to bring in a good Item, I'll take the Item instead and not a bad Item I'll try to upgrade with a required Perk Slot while also being utterly inconsistent. I don't think this Perk can be buffed either, it should just be reworked.

Not gonna lie, this chapter's perks for both killer and survivor are terrible

honestly this chapters perks are mid at best and honestly I wouldn’t recommend it whatsoever, I get every free killer and survivor with the shards but I don’t spend money on licensed dlc unless I like the killer/perks

You honestly should’ve made this a poll to get better numbers, if you want other peoples opinion on what perks you buy.

Pretty okay perks, overall, though I'd like to see at least two of them buffed.

Eyes of Belmont is the least in need of changes. I do personally wish it had just a few extra seconds on either number, but it's perfectly useful as it is- good effect on its own, and some strong synergies with other aura reading perks, quite nice.

Exultation is a neat gimmick perk that rewards more aggressive play, on top of being an item perk that's quite smartly designed to avoid buffing toolboxes specifically, which is nice. It has two problems, though. The first is that pallet stuns can be kind of hard to get on some killers, so I wish it worked on all stuns instead- that way you could pair it with, say, Head On, and have a better chance at activating it across the whole killer roster. The second is that it suffers from the "why wouldn't you just bring the item" problem that most chest-searching perks have too, and I honestly think the solution to that involves addressing chests before it involves Exultation.

Moment of Glory isn't quite as bad as people are making it out to be, its total time investment is honestly on par with most other healing tools. Medkits are 24 seconds, Inner Strength is 20 seconds, Strength in Shadows is 22-ish seconds, and Moment of Glory has a total of 20 seconds. The bigger problem with it is that your progress towards charging it resets on a down, that's something I'd really want to see changed- but once it is, the perk's a relatively versatile heal. You can use it in chase if you're confident, or you can just finish charging it and pump generators in peace while getting healed, on top of getting two items out of it. Perfectly good perk with one big glaring flaw.

i found a way to use moment of glory that is most people probably didn't think about it. it is really good for bodyblock hooks for Mettle of Man stacks. You put Appraisal+Moment of glory and then search chests to bodyblock at hooks. The 3 stacks of Appraisal are perfect in line with 3 stacks of Mettle of man.

Eye of belmont needs more duration. like +2 second of linger. can be good with skeleton keys and blood amber but otherwise not that great.

Exultation is a perk that i think your suppose to use med-kits and heal in chase. so if you pallet stun mid-chase, you restore charges and hopefully heal inside chase. the problem is that this only works on baby killers that mind-game themselves. Most of the time, you don't have enough time to heal mid-chase and getting stuns on a lot of killer is too difficult. I used Botany knowledge+Desperate measures+Resilience with this perk to heal in chase. that was best idea i could come up when using this perk.

i was so thrilled for exultation but getting 2 or more stuns a match isn't always easy unless it's an m1 killer and map allows it, wish it wasn't only pallet stuns but all kinds of stuns like ds head on blast mine etc.

healing for chest opening might replace specialist in my looting build but currently i'm going for exultation for items, so.

and i don't really care about eyes of belmont, it has very limited perk pool to synergize. it not working with ooo (that's because of the way ooo works, but still) and keys is unfortunate. idk how healthy it would be if it worked with keys so you could just tap the key for 2s aura but it would see some use then that's for sure.

Exultation has been good to build back up my stack of iri maps, but that's really the most use you're going to get out of any of them.
