Why haven't we yet got a spider monster as the killer?

I mean a literal monster not a half-human, half-spider but a full blown, arachnophobic inducing spider. I expected to see one in a horror game such as Dead by Daylight but unfortunately that's not the case. What we do have are spider charms and small spider-esque creatures on Toba Landing.
