Lights Out - killer availability

Can we take a moment to discuss why Freddy is not a playable killer in Lights Out because his dream state can ruin the experience but you have killer like dredge who can clearly see the survivors in nightfall or legion who gets killer instinct in frenzy are available?

    It's not a balancing decision. It's because the Dream World effects cause the world to become brighter, which clashes with the darkness effects of Lights Out.

    Actually this one confuses me too.

    Freddy makes sense, since dream world most likely is tied to the same lighting and fog code as Lights Out, but Dredge is a massive oversight even from the previous iteration. Should really disable the nightfall + auras during nightfall and just give him the locker teleport speed for the duration his 'nightfall' is active, so his other addons that revolve around it work.

    Edit: I just remembered addons aren't active in Lights Out, doi. Ignore that last part.
