Is the game more responsive on K&M?
Serious question because when I watch streamers on PC they seem to be able to keep killers going at loops for ages without hits and downs. Similarly when running across the map and using line of sight blockers as much as possible etc killers seem to catch up to me a lot quicker than them. I’m talking like for like plays too and even mimicking what I see as ‘good chase technique’. A lot of the time I watch them thinking ‘the killer would have got me by now’ which is normally what happens.
Similarly when I run with other survivors somehow they seem a bit faster than me at times despite no visible form of haste or perk. The only difference I seem to be able to pick up is that I play on console using a controller and many people seem to play on Pc with Keyboard and Mouse. You can always tell which killers are console killers as they don’t tend to be able to ‘flick’ as much. Is the input on keyboard and mouse more responsive or something?

Instant inputs for movement translate to that yes.
Survivors have almost no delay in momentum when turning or initiating movement. Same with killer and they can control hits better, think Oni or Blight.

It matters most when playing as killer. Any of them that need snappy movement and quick near-instant responsiveness will always suffer with a controller. The camera feels sluggish, inputs feel slow, and flicks kinda unheard of. Even at max sensitivity.
The best way to describe it would be imagine having a third to a half of a second delay on everything. This means most killers cannot be played anywhere near their full potential.
A good example would be Hag. With a mouse you rebind her attack to the scroll wheel, so you're basically swinging as you teleport for that insta smack. But with a controller you can't time it right, and even mashing the button won't make it instant. So the surv scampers off unhurt most of the time. Things like that.
