old deep rift cosmetic
hey so i play renato on dbd and there was a rift that came out a while ago that i was on a vacation while it was in game so i had no chance to be apart of and it was the one rift that had cosmetics that i really wanted for my main renato specifically the deep rift outfit called “rebellious tactician (deep rift)” what could i possibly do to get this… it’s been driving me crazy like i don’t care ill pay for it or whatever i just really want it. please could anyone help me out??

I don't think the deep Rift cosmetics will be available again. Never say never of course but that was the last we'd heard around it. The non-deep Rift version of that cosmetic will hit the store at some point though

i think that’s silly, why would they lock out other players from cosmetics just because they couldn’t play at a specific time frame?? do they not want money? because i’m willing to spend money for it and im sure plenty of other people would too.. could they not just implicate a system where you could buy things called “deep rift keys” and you could buy old deep rift outfits with said keys??

I think Deep Rifts were their attempt to strike a balance of the allure of FOMO without gating any unique content, which had proven controversial in the past for this same reason. The whole thing was that the then-new Rift outfit would come back a year or so after the battlepass, but the Deep Rift recolor would stay unique to the people who finished the battlepass.
It's better than completely retiring the outfit, but it's still bad, especially in a case like this where the blue-black recolor is much better looking and the character doesn't have a lot of outfits to choose from. Renato is a relatively new survivor (feb 2023?) and hasn't had that many releases yet.
Rooting for you that they return Deep Rift outfits in some way. I'd give you mine if I could.

hah it should be if you’ve completed the rift you’ll get it a year early and everyone else would have to wait a whole year before they could buy it. i appreciate you willing to offer it to me if you could, that would be very cool but unfortunately the people at behavior want me to suffer….

A few people have brought it up in the Feedback section. It can't hurt for you to do so as well, hopefully they change things up and you get the cosmetic one day

It's funny cuz i think they want the rift to be like fortnite's battle pass but fortnite has just stopped making their battle passes exclusive

That doesn't mean stuff like the the superstyles (Dbds deep rift equivalent) will be available, in fact fortnite has made it clear they won't be. I know people hate to hear this but, GaaS games do need to reward their long time players with exclusive things.

They didn't make that clear to me, in the article they posted on august 7th they didn't state super styles are exclusive.
