GAME AFOOT doesn't always trigger

SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I've found that game afoot doesn't always trigger when breaking a pallet, atleast while playing as Skull Merchant.
PLATFORM: PC
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCURED: Played SM two games. In both of them, sometimes the perk didn't trigger after breaking a pallet/wall. I'm sure of it because the perk didn't light up and i didn't get any speedbost.
