Chaos shuffle the worst modificator BHVR ever release
Seriously, whats a fun to play wtih garbage perks when you opponent have full meta (doesnt matter if you killer or survivor the other side perks would be much better) and perks with anty sinergy with each other. I dont believe that i say this but please return Lights Out for 3d time instead of chaos shuffle

NO please, not again. There was never a worse thing than lights out, the concept of not seeing anything is not fun and it hurts my eyes after a while.
The only thing I'd accept would be just taking the no perks-, no addons-aspect from lights out maybe add bloodpoint-offerings but let map-offerings out of it and it's a fun mode at least for me.

nothing can be worse no mither+selface or bloodhound+territorial imperative when other side has (eruption+ pain res in survivor match and woo+lithe in killer match)
1 -
I got no mither, Selfcare and scene partner today in same match and i wasnt sour. I escaped and laughed all match. You don't have to play this mode if you don't like it. Go back to normal. Many of us are enjoying it since we don't have to see the same 4 perks from both sides all the time.
21 -
And thats a problem normal match take almost eternity to get a game. Its even worse with lobby timing then was with 2vs8
1 -
Plus its not about what you gen but what other side get and the other side perk is always better than yours no matter side you played
1 -
It's called CHAOS shuffle. Its random perks. Thats the point. Sometimes killer gets horrible garbage, and sometimes you and the other survivors get horrible garbage. In most matches i would say this mode is more survivor friendly, but its just stupid fun. This is good mode to learn to use perks you'd never equip.
12 -
It can happen that the other side has good Perks and you, yourself, have bad Perks. This is the result when it is random.
But most of the time both sides will have pretty random Perks which might not work together or are just not good. But you focus on rare instances so that you can complain. Yikes.
5 -
I like the mode, I just wish Survivors had to find their flash lights in the trial. Lightborn is my comfort perk and I'm fed up with being blinded at every pallet and losing multiple hooks to flashy saves. Makes me not want to play Killer, which is the only side I want to play these days. I've lost my enjoyment for the Survivor side of the game completely.
All perks, addons and items should be randomised for the mode, imho.
2 -
Nah bro, as a killer I didnt loose any match I played today, I could tunnel and camp every survivor I hooked and it was risk free. You know they will never have WoO, or any second chance perk. The mode as killer is easy mode against soloQ. You might get some difficulty against a swf, but most of your matches will be against soloQ survivors.
3 -
You're right though, this mode makes easier to gen rush and tunnel
0 -
I disagree. I think this game mode is just fun overall. I mean… The thing is… I can't take the match seriously coz I didn't pick the perks I have, nor the other side, so if anything goes out of the plan - I just don't really care.
On the other side - I think this game mode is testing your knowledge about the perks and how to use them (getting value from). I'm all for that.
LIGHTS OUT?! No please… Not this thing…
0 -
I feel you, but I would say be more aware of your surroundings and learn to avoid the light. It ca be hard, but with practice you can do it. Plus, it makes it so when you DO have Lightborn.. the survivors won't know, and they'll waste time trying when you are "oh, no let me look at the sky so you can't blind me" even though you don't need to. :)
2 -
at least in light out both sides in equal condition
0 -
... we're going to regret asking but what do you mean by "equal condition"?
2 -
You are right.
But these conditions are so frustrating… It can be kinda "jumpy" if you play a survivor… Like some jumpscares are good…
But if you play as a killer it's just frustrating. No scratchmarks, complete guess, and if you got a map with multiple rooms and passages - you just guessing every move. It's just a total rng, not healthy one. Not to mention it's not fun…
1 -
Uhh, it is random. The other side isn't guaranteed to have better perks than you, it is all up to luck. I don't think players should be able to choose items and add-ons, but other than that this modifier is pretty nice.
And no, no Lights Out again. Twice we've had it and twice Freddy was excluded. I don't wanna deal with that for the third time.
3 -
You have less than 1% see Freddy in the main game, so lights out didnt do that much
1 -
But I see him every time I play, because I am Freddy in those games. If I cannot play my favorite killer, what is the point?
5 -
Both side has equal chance to win unlike chaos shuffle when for you being generated garbage perks and for your opponent full meta (work for both killer and survivor)
0 -
I'm gonna be honest, I take 10 matches like this over a single one of lights out xD
2 -
disagree. Chaos Shuffle is the best modifier of all time
3 -
This is an interesting bait post. A bit too obvious, because with good bait posts there's normally a decent argument to it. This doesn't. However, it has worked a bit, so well done!
1 -
Play game and see for yourself this whole idea of random perks is complete unfair garbage
1 -
Chaos shuffle for me is playing perkless with garbage perk that do nothing as killer and survivor using perks that i rarely play against but end up making the match harder.
the survivor side almost always better perks. Like what i am suppose to do with insidious, Hex:two can play, Undone and Spirit fury. these are just pointless perks that do nothing. spirit fury, you use it and the survivor get to another loop anyway. Undone is pointless. insidious is irrelevant for 7 years. hex:two can play is pointless hex. why is it even a hex, this perk could be base-kit and it would do nothing.
1 -
Its totally opposite killers almost always have better perks
3 -
I have, and it's brilliant! I admire you sticking to your shtick though! Dedication to the cause is always the way to go.👍
6 -
Even though I didn't really like Lights Out, it was different enough from the main game to be interesting. Chaos Shuffle just isn't different enough. There are several tome challenges that force random perks on you already, so it isn't like there is anything unique or different.
More power to those that like it, but I just don't personally find it enjoyable enough.
2 -
For evey player with [4 useless perks] going against [4 OP perks], there is a player with [4 OP perks] going against [4 useless perks]
3 -
Is MMR enabled in Chaos?
0 -
"the survivor side almost always better perks."
Nonsense. It is random.
11 -
If it is like last time, MMR is actually enabled for Matchmaking purposes, but you will not gain or lose any Rating.
2 -
Both sides still have a equal chance to win though. Firstly It's random for both sides as you said, It's just RNG as to who ends up with what. One could be 4 full meta survivors or none while the killer has perks that don't mesh well or the basic beep build. The only consistent is what power the killer has and what items survivors bring. The second is that full meta doesn't guarantee a win against skill of survivors.
3 -
Why do people keep getting mad at limited time modes that they don't even have to play? Like who is forcing you? Same as Light's Out... why do people who hate the mode play it and then complain? 😅
I thought people loved Chaos Shuffle... it was very popular last time...
2vs8 haters had a legit argument because that did hurt queue time for the regular game, but what's with people suddenly going in hard on fun little modes they can literally ignore for no penalty? 😅
4 -
Beeeeecause people like whining? I hope?
3 -
it is random perk that are skewed in survivors favor. i still think the mode as playing adept killer or killer with irrelevant perks. basically just hard-mode killer. survivor don't really need perk and lot of their perk stand out on their own.
2 -
Chaos Shuffle isnt fun with the rampant camping and tunneling or lack of slowdown and bbq and chili for killers
They SHOULD have made tweaks to the Gamemode
0 -
All of this is untrue. Survivors are more reliant on perks than a killer. Killers can and will camp tunnel in this match and guess what? Survivors are unlikely to have any defense against that. Regardless of perks a killer has their power and add-ons to fall back on.
1 -
what do you mean camp and tunnel? the killer often has no gen defence to camp so the games are like speed-running games vs efficient teams. Surely my insidious perk is going carry the game.
4 -
That title goes to Lights Out, actually
2 -
I mean this is the forums, it's literally designed for feedback both good and bad. I do get what you mean though. Sometimes it's hard to see nothing but complaints everywhere but if nobody complained about anything then no changes would ever happen, and sometimes those changes really do need to happen. (I'm not talking about the modifiers just in general) It's a shame the community can't be more appreciative though.
2 -
Why does this communtiy have to destroy EVERY. SINGLE. NEW. MODE.
WHY. CAN'T. YOU. JUST. PLAY. CASUAL.
In a LIMITED modifier.
1 -
Yeah I mean that's fair, constructive criticism is great…
But if you read the OP... sheesh xD
1 -
I love this mode but, we have the same issue but worse than normal. ITS IMPOSIBLE TO PLAY AS SOLOQ. this game is absolutely broken for soloq. My escape rate is 10-20% as soloq or less and now in chaos shuffle is ridiculous i gave up to play chaos shuffle as survivor before complete 24 hours since start. BHVR needs wake up and do something about soloQ, u cant play this game as survivor without friends
0 -
Confirmation Bias much OP?
1 -
Maybe if players want to leave feedback, they should create feedback threads (which the devs will actually read).
As far as being appreciative, most players are likely children. Good luck getting anything other than entitlement from the average ten year old.

I never used lightborn at all when I first started playing, not for at least 6 month. Mostly because the advice was always not to use it because it's a "crutch" perk. But then I tried it out one day and my Killer games suddenly became a thousand times more chill, so now it's on all my Killers permanently.
I do know how to play around flashlights somewhat and I don't mind losing the odd hook to a save, since that's usually on me for not checking the area. The trouble is, if you want to kick a pallet there's no way to avoid the light since you're locked in an animation (and they can often follow it up with another quick blind afterwards). It gets tiresome to deal with after a while.
3 -
Also, Background Player + Flashbang still exists, which is literally uncounterable on pickup when timed right. There's no "just learn the counters" there.
2 -
The point of the modifier is that everyone is on equal footing RNG-wise. Yeah, one side might get some good perks but there will be games where it's the other way around. Regardless, you have the option to play normal mode until a modifier you enjoy comes out. This game can be played even with rubbish perks. If you feel you need certain perks in order to play then normal mode is more for you.
5 -
True, but I find a lot of times you can fake the break, forcing them to waste their flashlight, then do it a few more times. If they don't give up, you can a good number of times sometimes catch them off guard when you suddenly start running around the side, then immediately turn back.

Buh-buh-buh muh Min-Max value.
