Is there a way to turn off the killer auto attack automatic cancel thing?
Idk how to describe it but last time I complained about my basic attacks being cancelled instantly before I could hit the survivor despite holding down my left click button I was told this was a feature that had been added to the game recently. Is there anyway to turn it off? It's the single most tilting thing in this game for me, I'll be chasing a survivor hold down left click with all my might to lunge at them and get a short stab 3 or 4 times in a row. It's especially bad when chasing a survivor around a rock.

I could be wrong but this sounds like your mouse is missclicking? When i had a broken mouse it would double click quite a bit

It's possible but it only happens like 10% of the time. Idk guess I'll have to buy a new mouse and find out unless it's a known issue

I'll try rebinding the attack button from left click to my side button

The game forbids a killer from making a lunge attack, if a survivor is too close to the killer while the survivor is too close to the middle of the killer's screen. This can steal hits from the killer. This has been in the game for a long time.
