Can you get banned for being reported to often

I know its kind of a weird question but hear me out:

I am a Huntress Main with like 1.5k hours just on her. Inspired by the video from dbd things on Youtube I started practicing my orbitals and have by now become quite good with them.

That in turn leads to a lot of survivors accusing me of cheating since they dont understand what happened when they get hit by 2 hatches in short succession. A lot of people reported me from what they said and also posted on my Profile that I am an obvious cheater.

I also have the feeling that I get reported a lot in my games that aren't with huntress too. Mostly cause people dont understand how certain killers work (finding people in lockers with frenzy is a good example) or dont agree with certain (alledged) playstyles.

My question is: how does the report system work? Can I get autobanned for just receiving a high amount of reports in a short time or does everything get manually reviewed and im at no risk of being banned as long as im not cheating?

Well if actually so many people reported me for cheating that have said it, I'd be banned by now I guess. I don't think you have to worry, they know that people report for everything that doesn't go their way (regarded to slugging, tunneling and camping), so I think they also know that most of the reports even for cheating are unvalid.

Congratulations for your orbitals, and no: you don't risk anything by just being reported.

Over the years I've been (allegedly) reported many times by survivors who don't understand the first thing about game sense or don't get how perks are working, sometimes even after I point it to them in the chat.

It has never been an issue.
