Haunted By Daylight Expectations?
Any expectations or hype this time around? Anything you want to see going forwards?
Idk I feel like we kind of brushed over the whole Haunted by Daylight event and should probably talk about it now that it is around the corner.

To be honest, my friend, I was kinda expecting to get the Freddy rework before the Halloween event.
…Well, I'll go through the event with his current power, it seems.
Other than that, I am excited. This is the first Haunted by Daylight event I'll actually be around to play. The other two happened while I was taking breaks from Dead by Daylight. So I am looking forward to see if it is actually fun, and if it compares to the excellent events we used to have.
Also, I hope they bring back Mikaela's Witching Hour cosmetic, because I really want it.

my frneds said last time was rly survivr sided. i want to be challenged and i am not sure the void is a good idea. i hope if they change it lots it gets its own mode.

The fact that killers couldn't use their powers in the Void made it rather unappealing for 4.4 killers (and nurse in particular) to continue a chase if it went into the void, so I'm glad to see that's gone. I still think it's an interesting concept to explore, but I'm not sure how to implement it without disproportionately affecting slower killers more than your standard 4.6's.
The haunts were… not all that useful last year. They gave a guano load of BP, but gameplay wise they were just kinda there. Maybe they'll prove to be too strong this year, who knows?
I'm also intrigued by the concept of a smoke bomb. We'll see how effective it is, and maybe it'll get turned into a perk at some point. We got Flashbang, after all, which is just a firecracker with extra steps.
