If the killer is adjusted because of its popularity.
It's not fair if we don't nerf the popular survivor's perk too.
And why can't the delayed effect perk be enhanced to a strength that can compete with the current repair speed of generators?
Is it wrong for a killer to go for total annihilation?
I consider this game to be a competitive game, not a party game.
And while you are quick to weaken strong killers and perks, the perks and combined heinous effects of survivors tend to be left alone for long periods of time
The case of corrective action is a good example.
The development team should be more serious about balancing the game and surveying a wide range of user opinions.

They nerf survivor perks to hell and back. what are you talking about?

Are you seriously complaining about Corrective Action?
19 -
Oh no the useless perk got a small buff to be useless still.
14 -
WoO is the top used perk and was never touched, Ultimate Weapon, The only counter to it was gutted

So you say they need to nerf survivor perks, yes I agree but survivor perks are all survivors have while the killers have specials and 4 perks and killer mains complain about survivors, distortion got reworked and nerfed the wrong way, 1 less token sure okay, but make us have to work 10 times harder for people trying to repair gens or heal others or heal themselves. Let's put a perk on for survivors that make killers not be able to lunge 20 feet and hit a survivor or forces killers not to be able to use their abilities and only be able to use their physical attacks. or prolonged the attacks on killers and see how they like it when they can't do what they are supposed to do bc they tunnel or run perks that cause gen progression to slow. And let's add abilities to the survivors to put survivors to on the same level as killers. There's only a hand full of things I complain about when it comes to playing killers and that's toxic survivors, now playing survivors instead of killers makes me see how lopsided the toll is.

Thats a you problem. Like.. you're the one who has a problem. And its your view of the game. Its a party game, regardless what any of the hard pvp'ers want.
There are non-party games you could try.

'And while you are quick to weaken strong killers and perks'
Lol, it took BHVR 3-4 YEARS to finally nerf Blight addons even when it was blatantly obvious that Addons like Alc ring were broken af.
Years to realize that a killer like NURSE shouldnt be able to use perks like starstruck on Midwich, or Spirit should have some form of audio cue when using her power.
They always took their time to nerf something for both sides.

Yet another whiny killer main screaming to the top of their lungs to be coddled.
13 -
I don't want to be told by a survivor who can't be satisfied without lots of auxiliary rings.
4 -
correct
auxiliary rings→training wheels
2 -
Its definitely not a party game. Maybe it started out as one.

Just two different groups of players. That's the biggest reason there -are- issues at all.

I'm willing to die on this hill but they absolutely should nerf windows of opportunity into the ground. It is the most used survivor perk for a very long time and across the board for all mmr ranges.
It provides a huge amount of advantage to survivors to the point even new players can double their chase time.1 -
The case of corrective action is a good example.
If that is what qualifies as a 'good example', you don't have a case.

Corrective action is a good perk 😂. Best joke ever.

so in solo que how are we supposed to know when or where a pallet has been dropped by someone else across the map?
3 -
If you want to give an example for a problematic perk that did not change for an eternity than at least call out dead hard.
Otherwise, survivor perks absolutely have been nerfed. Some VERY fast.
Just look at boil over and how fast that perk got (rightfully) changed.

I'm willing to die on the hill that windows should be basekit (with ability to turn off). Along with kindred and unreakable. It might make kill rates go down to 58% though, so we can't have that, can we?

I usually run corrective action if I am playing with a new friend that is getting an understanding of the game. This prevents any frustration from other teammates and also on the new player, but that’s about all I use it on. 😅
Thankfully I can get great skill checks often to keep up with the missed skill checks. 😅😅0 -
Name one. Which one is straight-up not usable anymore?
1 -
They do that. Killer perks sees play, nerfed to near unusability in under 3 months. Survivors perks meta for 6 years, maybe give them a rework, just as strong but a different effect.
1 -
What? Turning a missed skill check into a net positive? What ever could be scrutinized about that?
1 -
Seriously? Just take a look at the great "perk overhaul". They nearly killed everything fine. They lately killed distortion.
Back to topic: When was the last time a killer got changes just because of popularity?
1 -
You are never supposed to know. That's the point. If you were supposed to know it would be basekit.

Who said they're nerfing things strictly based on popularity? Something being extremely popular would give them a reason to look at it from a balance perspective, so there's some correlation, but not necessarily causation. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's overpowered, but something being overpowered will probably lead to it becoming popular.
Also, we're in year 8 and people are still insistent on drawing false equivalencies between how perks are treated between both roles. Killer and survivor gameplay are different things. It would be asinine to judge perks on the same standards across two very different roles.
It is much easier to correlate a perk to a change in win rate when only one person has to run it (killer) in a trial. There are so many fewer control factors for a killer and their perks. I'd be willing to bet survivor is much more murky in terms of how perks affect win rates.

Even though I agree that Made For This needed to be nerfed, you could use that as a prime example of a perk that's been straight up not usable unless you pair it with Off The Record and/or Dead Hard.
The perk largely depends on the killer you go against Deathslinger/Legion or you being tunneled making it pretty niche.

What training wheels does survivor let alone either role have?

This is almost always the opposite.

so we are supposed to just be screwed over. Yeah thanks for the amazing explanation😒
