It was a bug, they stated this in their live stream.

I think it's somewhere between 25-30? I don't know the maths tbh but yeah add 3 toolboxes and It's gonna be incredibly fast gens.

There were some things that got changed, if you had read the patch notes.
- Fixed an issue that caused Prove Thyself to grant an additional 10% repair speed bonus. Because the Prove Thyself owner was counted as well.
- Fixed how we calculate the Prove thyself multiplier to be additive instead of multiplicative (the action speed bonus when using a Toolbox was much higher than we intended it to be).
- Fixed an issue with generator repair efficiency for multiple Survivors working on the same generator. The efficiency debuff (-10%) should now be applied at the correct rate.
Do not spread misinformation, please.

What’s a bug? It being in the patch notes? So it’s NOT going live and destroying the game? Oh thank god
No the speed at which prove thy self was working, try actually reading the patch notes instead of one line and coming to the forums to post misinformation.

Its easier to jump to conclusions and go into an insane panic.

Someone test this with green toolboxes and SWF, im curious how long a gen takes

Why are you concerned?
They added a 10% debuff when working on a generator with someone else
All Prove Thyself does is get rid of that debuff. That means the old gen time of 27s~ can return if you run this perk.
Once again, a nerf is compensated by just having to run a perk. It's irritating.

Diminishing returns (what you call the "10% debuff") were always there; they just weren't working properly. They fixed a bug and buffed a perk.

They separated an already good perk in 2 perks; it is irritating.
The complaint isn't the 10% debuff, it's how they accumulate it. They basically go "we've done this, but here's a perk if you still want it the old way".
Also, I'm aware it wasn't working properly. I watch their streams.
I rather have a more unique stance to Prove Thyself than this half-assed change but that's personal.

No, they literally go "We fixed a bug and buffed a perk". You, on the other hand, go "They fixed a bug that was hindering me, but I'm complaining anyway. Also, I don't like the buff to this perk that nobody ever uses, so I'm complaining about that as well".

I fear you misunderstand my posts frequently. Ontop of that, forums are a place for people to complain.
My complaints are not in the diminishing returns, holy #########. I'm fine with that. It's not going to drastically effect gameplay as we all know genrushing isn't executed by grouping up on generators. If you cannot fathom where my complaints are from, stop mentioning me.
My complaints are infact that you no longer have gen speed increase and healing increase in one. They took a perk, separated it into two separate perks, while one is just there to compensate a fixed bug. That's all they changed it to, it's half assed. Leader was good imo.
So yes, while the change is better in numbers, it's uncreative, im annoyed since Prove thyself is basically pre-leader, and I could give less of a flying ######### about the 10% debuff. Moving on..

Even MCLean explained in one of the last streams/videos that Prove Thyself now just compensates the coop gen repair debuff which didn't work as intended before 2.5.0. So the overall benefit from this perk is actually worse than it was before but the BP boost is pretty neat tbh.

I mean I really like the new Leader. 25% is substantial when it comes to healing, exit gates, cleansing, and unhooking. The new Prove Thyself isn't really worth carrying for solo players, but extra BP is definitely nice.0
