A small but immensely helpful tip for survivors

If you have NEVER been hooked and the killer has someone (or multiple) people on death hook they absolutely DO NOT WANT to see you.

Returning to this game after 6 months i've had a lot of learning to do to catch up on stuff but something that's insane to me is that a simple concept (which i'd imagine should be old news) is foreign to so many players.

I play about 80/20 in favor of killer and I consider myself slightly above average. I don't play all the time to be insane and know everything but I play a decent amount that a lot of tricks/tips/builds etc. isn't completely new to me but this one single piece of advice can make the game SO much easier when you decide to play survivor.

I see so many games with 1-2 people dying and the others having been hooked 0 times and then escaping (or dying because there's not many survivors left) when it could have been easily avoided if that person didn't hide/run to shack while i'm chasing/being chased 2 hooks in.

A tip for this tip is DO NOT try this when the game is about to be over and the exit gates are powered. If your entire team is 2 hooks and you save and get hooked for your first time. Nobody is coming to save you 80% of the time because none of them want to die for you (especially if you spent the entire game not helping them)

If you see someone with 2 hooks being chased and you have 0 then help them. Most of the time the killer will slug you because hooking you does nothing (which is why unbreakable is so strong) then you can get up and do gens or help them out more but as long as you delay someone dying the game is still in your favor by a large margin. The difference between 3 and 4 survivors for killer is MASSIVE and why you will see tunneling happen so much so the more you prevent that the harder it is for the killer to maintain pressure/snowball
