If Kayako Saeki and her son Toshio were characters in Dead by Daylight, their abilities and addons could reflect their supernatural powers and the horror elements from Ju-on.

Kayako Saeki: The Cursed Whisper

Power: Kayako can manifest her ghostly presence to haunt survivors. When activated, she can teleport to a location within a certain range, leaving behind a "curse" that affects survivors in that area. Survivors who enter the cursed area suffer from a speed reduction and are marked for a limited time.

Add-ons:

Red Add-ons:

  1. Grudge's Embrace
    • Effect: Survivors affected by the curse become exposed, allowing Kayako to down them in one hit.
  2. Whispering Shadows
    • Effect: Increases the duration of the curse effect on survivors.

Purple Add-ons:

  1. Toshio's Lullaby
    • Effect: Survivors within the cursed area experience disorientation, with distorted audio cues.
  2. Cursed Doll
    • Effect: Survivors who cleanse a totem become cursed and marked for a time.

Green Add-ons:

  1. Hairpin
    • Effect: Increases the range of her teleportation ability, allowing her to reach survivors more easily.
  2. Picture Frame
    • Effect: Survivors who enter the cursed area leave a blood trail for a short duration.

    • Effect: Survivors affected by the curse have their repair and healing speeds reduced.

Toshio: The Innocent Haunt

Power: Toshio can manifest as a distraction, creating an illusion of himself that draws survivors’ attention. Survivors who interact with the illusion become exposed for a limited time.

  1. Child's Cry
    • Effect: Survivors who interact with Toshio's illusion suffer from the exposed status effect for a longer duration.
  2. Eerie Presence
    • Effect: Increases the radius of the illusion, making it harder for survivors to discern reality.

Purple Add-ons:

  1. Haunting Laughter
    • Effect: Survivors within the area of the illusion experience a disorienting effect, slowing their actions.
  2. Cursed Toy
    • Effect: When the illusion is interacted with, it creates a loud noise notification for Kayako.

Green Add-ons:

  1. Battered Doll
    • Effect: Survivors who interact with the illusion leave behind a visible trail for a short time.
  2. Ghostly Whisper
    • Effect: Reduces the cooldown of Toshio’s illusion ability when survivors are marked.

    • Effect: Increases the duration of the illusion, making it more challenging for survivors to escape.
