My tierlist of survivors based on their perks

As an Ace main, I agree his kit is mediocre and needs updating. Ace in the Hole only works well if paired with Plunderer's Instinct and Appraisal, or one of the item-specific perks: Residual Manifest, Scavenger, and Pharmacy. Up the Ante feels awkward and clunky, and works no better (in my experience) than a Salt offering.
But Open-Handed kicks butt. Pair it with Kindred for an extended range that benefits all survivors. Pair it with everyone's favorite Windows of Opportunity (though that may be a bit overkill) or even Bond. It even counteracts a killer running Knock Out. Detective's Hunch. Clairvoyance. Plunderer's Instinct. Left Behind. Visionary.
Even Wiretap benefits from it. The only negative of this perk is, that if two or more teammates are using it, someone is effectively only running three perks, since Open-Handed doesn't stack.Post edited by Musxussu575 on3 -
Interesting concept for a tier list, I like it!
I think two are being underrated a little, to provide some feedback. Sable and Nic Cage both have two exceptional perks each, and their weaker perks are still serviceable in the right contexts.
Cage is definitely too low, both Plot Twist and Dramaturgy are quite strong. While Scene Partner is a little weaker, it's still serviceable, so I wouldn't say it drags down his average all that far.
Sable should probably be up one tier too, in my opinion, probably in the same spot as Cage for about the same reason. Strength in Shadows is an exceptional healing perk with an aura on top, and Wicked provides excellent information post-unhook to let you know where and when it's safe to reset, as well as if the killer is trying to tunnel you. Weaving Spiders definitely brings her average down more than Scene Partner does for Cage, but I'd argue her two good perks are better than his too, so I think they average out about the same.

Looks pretty accurate.

Unless they made that change recently wiretap doesn't work with open handed. That was one of the first combos a lot of people tried and figured out didn't work

Rebecca Chambers should be in S tier, hyperfocus allows you to fix generator in 60 seconds and completely ignores any generator slowdown perk

Solid list. I wouldn't rate Gabe, Jeff or David that highly though (I think they are C tier).
I think Yun-Jin only has one good perk (Smash Hit), but it's still better than everything that Ash has, so I'd move her up 2 tiers.

To see Jane and Steve in 3/5 feels like a dream. A dream come true!!!

People are often sleeping on Fast Track. Quite the underrated perk to be honest, and can provide a massive boost to gen progress.

Honestly, I also think that Open-Handed is good. In fact, it's the perk that kept Ace out of D tier.
Now, I have to mention this: The order the characters are in is chronological, so that's why Sable is on the bottom of B tier. She would be on the high end if I put them in order of perk strength.
On the subject of Cage, I kinda have to agree with you. If I edit this post, he'll go in B tier.
I took all 3 perks into consideration when ranking. Rebecca could be in A if it weren't for Better Than New being bad. Also, Hyperfocus is good, but it's not the best perk ever.

Nothing is in a particular order besides steve, i think he´s the best survivor in the game perk wise, babysitter is a really good anti tunnel perk to help your teammates AND gives you a little bit of info, Camaraderie is basically reasurance but for youself (and have more range), not exactly super good in solo Q, but in SWF it´s one of the best perk imo, second wind is kinda wathever but still works well
in my list if 1 survivor have like, 2 really bad perks and 1 god mega blaster giga supreme perk i´ll put it high up
feng and renato ar eon S because of lithe, bloodrush and background player
in my opinion, jill have always been S tier, counterforce is situational but it shreds through any hex build, i always liked resurgence (it was my main perk even when it had only 50% healing progress) and it´s also one of the best anti tunnel/time saver of the game, blast mine is… i mean, it´s blast mine

Hello again!
So, I've decided to make the list more exact, putting the survivors in the order of perk strength.

You're right. I must have missed that or been thinking about something else. Wiretap's aura emanates from the generator whereas Open-Handed boosts auras emanating from survivors themselves, thus it wouldn't work.

Nic should be an easy A. Not for beginners, but seasoned players can appreciate everything up Nic's arsenal

The only ones I would personally move up would be Nick and Lara while yes they have a "useless" perk dramaturgy is great, plot twist is very nice to have in most situations, Finesse is a pretty solid perk especially when paired with dramaturgy while yes the other 2 aren't as good, with the proper build they can be strong same with scene partner

Perfect tierlist imo

How do you decide placement in a tier? Is it simply how many of their 3 perks are worth running, or the combined strength of the three perks, or the average, or something else?

Wow I agree with it pretty closely.

this is my tierlist without thinking too hard about it. "Useful" = I would tell someone to run this, if they had it, for some specific purpose (chase, aura, gens, etc). Not ordered within tiers or considering meta.
2 -
I'll gladly explain that!
My ranking was pretty simple: I ranked each of their perks from 1 to 10 and the resulting number determined in which tier they were placed.
So, it's kind of the combined strength of the perks that determined it.
