Chest Perks are back

  • Pharmacy: When injured, Pharmacy activates (REMOVED) Unlocking chests is 70/85/100% faster. (was 40/60/80% faster) The hearing distance for noises from unlocking chests are reduced by 20 meters. (was 8 meters) Pharmacy guarantees an Emergency Med-Kit upon completing the interaction.
  • Plunderer's Instinct: The auras of unopened chests and items in the environment are revealed to you when standing within a 32/48/64 meters range. (was 16/24/32 meters) Increases the odds of finding higher rarity items from chests by 50%. (was 14/24/46%)
  • Ace in the Hole: When retrieving an item from a chest, there is a 100% chance that a Ultra Rare (or lower) add-on will be attached to it. (was Very Rare or lower) 50/75/100% chance to finding an add-on of Uncommon rarity or lower. (was 10/25/50%) When escaping, keep any add-ons your item has.

would appreciate a base-kit buff to time to open chests though so a brown toolbox is a neutral time investment instead of negative and remove the green keys

    I wish they would buff chests basekit. The 8 seconds to open them instead of 10s is nice, but we need more.

    I hope they let us keep our addons if we escape basekit and make it possible to find items with addons from chests. Basically ace in the whole basekit.

    The 8-second chest opening is nice, I still wish they added 1 or 2 more chests by default though.

    But I like the Pharmacy changes, it's a lot better now.

    Yeah chests should just be faster baseline without perks, it takes way too long to open them with how the game currently is.

    If the do that plus add more chests it would make Human greed actually usable. The perk is still really useless when theirs only 2 chests outside basement and killer coin offerings reduce chests spawned lol

    Human Greed: You see Unopened Chests auras and Survivor auras are revealed for 3/3/3 seconds when they enter a 8/8/8-meter range. You also gain the ability to kick chests to close them. This ability has a 30/25/20-second cooldown. (was 60/45/30 seconds)

    Agree we need to have more chests. I think we should have 6 instead of 3 in a trial.

    Since emergency medkit and all other medkits heal you in 24s no matter their rarity I think pharmacy is outdated. Last time pharmacy got buffed you could heal in 10s from emergency medkit, now it will take 24s no matter what. Way to heal nowadays is run double needle or passive heals like ressurgence, reactive healing, solidarity etc.

    I thought about this aswell, Pharmacy on it's own is really nothing special, it's a great healing Perk tho, the fun starts when you bring other Perks with it, especially Ace in the Hole, since now you can get Ultra Rare add-ons with it, so with enough luck you can have several syringes!

    Ace in the Hole might be fun now, as you now have the chance to find a toolbox with a brand-new part on it.
