Stuttering on dbd?
For a while there's been an annoying stutter on dbd. It gets especially bad when I'm moving my mouse one way and then switch directions. I know my PC can handle the game, since it has a 4070 TI Super and is running 500+ fps on OW2. It's a problem with dbd but I genuinely just don't know how to fix it. Does anyone know a way I could fix this?

No idea. This game does not have the best optimization, but it can really be an issue with anything, due to how many different forms and versions of software and hardware there are, there can be some wacky combos. First try to google your issue and see if anyone else has it and if they do how they fixed it.
Some basic things to try are:- close all background programs and disable any overclocking/overvolting/undervolting
- update drivers (or if on newest version, downgrade to safest version)
- uninstall and reinstall the game
if none of these fix your issue it's probably some obscure bug that makes performance worse because of an interaction with your (os version / PC part / whatever)

I know the answer. It's called Unreal Engine 5. I have a 4080 & i9 13900k. I get some occasional, really bad stutters with the game too, ever since they moved to UE5.

Honestly, engine 5 was an error for dbd…
