"Shoulder the Burden" Should Not Be Visible on HUD to Killers

As seen in the image below (Killer HUD), you can see who used the burden perk by that little mark above the names. A killer who is dedicated to tunnel, OBVIOUSLY will go after the survivor who used the perk, to get an early kill no matter what.

The purpose of this perk, making the tunneler killer think "I could get this survivor out of the match"" and then come across with the surprise that they're still in second stage after hooking for the third time, which is fairly punishing for doing that so.

The purpose of the perk is not to trick the killer, its to transfer hook stages from a survivor that might not be so good at the game and force the killer to chase an actual good player if they want to tunnel.

Its amazing as you can give the teamates that were previously dead weight a little less of a chance to hamper your escape. The killer might keep tunneling them but its more time on gens as they need to get over extra hook stages.

yeah, i cant imagine how painful it would be for good faith killers to track hookstages if they wouldnt get that info.

it's not hard to keep track of that perk when you're tunnelling & proxying, but it will be a hell if you leave hooks.

No there’s no need to hide it, it would just make it frustrating to play against for even non-tunnellers.

If the killer decides to go for the survivor that used the perk rather than the unhooked survivor, then that’s a good thing because now:

    1. The killer isn’t tunnelling that survivor anymore and they get to do more than just be chased and hooked all game.
    2. The killer interacts with more than just one player all game.
    3. Both survivors are still alive.

There’s no point to hiding it. With the amount of perks in the game it’s already hard enough for people to keep up with that hiding this information will just make it confusing for people.

The purpose of the perk is to encourage the killer to interact with multiple survivors, not make the tunnelled survivor invincible and confuse the killer.

I think it's fair, personally. It'd be confusing, especially for casual players, to think they've got a kill only for the survivor to be on second stage. The killer seeing the perk is in play provides incentive for them to leave the unhooked survivor and go for the unhooker.
