Myers Changes Are Welcomed But Could Use Improvement

First off, I want to say thank you BHVR for finally looking at Myers and giving him changes! His basekit is very well improved from Live servers to PTB! Now I want to bring your attention to a critique of mine. This critique of mine has to do with his evil gain multiplier when stalking from close distances. It's too slow, it feels too punishing to stalk closely especially when you're trying to inch closer to the next tier. Please consider buffing this, thank you. Next, one of Myers' add-ons called Lock of Hair, it works extremely well. Tier 3 duration for 100 seconds is honestly so nice and it come with little cost for Evil. I'm happy with the changes for Tombstone Piece as well! Overall I'm happy with all the changes for Myers' he deserves it! After all he was YOUR VERY FIRST LICENSE! If you do look at this I appreciate your time to look at my feedback.

    I'm pretty happy.

I think scratch mirror needs a buff though. This add-ons is practically unplayable on outdoor maps, you never gain bloodlust, have no lunge, survivors can loop you endlessly.

I'm fine with everything else pretty much. Curious to see how tombstones will play out with the new stalking changes.

I'm fine with the stalking speeds changing, because the whole theme of stalking is that it's done when the survivor doesn't know it's happening. Because having stalking be more powerful while in chase, isn't thematically stalking, especially when the killer is just staring at a nearby survivor that is stuck on the other side of a pallet loop.

Two main things I would like is a little buff to tier 3 where he breaks pallets faster, and an activation prompt for tier 3.

I mean I’m not saying they should revert the change but I think they could at least make it a tiny bit better when stalking close. Making it less forgiving for let’s say newer players that want to learn Mikey.

You see this is what also wanted for him. Where you can activate his Tier 3 like Oni’s power.

I agree with you but I do think that Scratch Mirror is really only played for jump scares. Not actual competitive action. We’ll see if they do change it.

I think the nerf with the scratched mirror is terrible because this add-on only works well on closed maps. You have no advantage on open maps. The developers should really reconsider the nerf. I would also like to see the stalking music back the way it used to be.

You can't call it a nerf when it's the exact same as it's always been. They just didn't give it the speed buff his base kit tier 1 is getting.

While ideally you'd want to stalk from a distance, often times that's just not possible. You have areas like the entire bottom half of The Game that ensure you won't have LOS, or simple just generators in the middle of jungle gyms.

I agree with that. The stalk multiplier up close needs to be buffed up to at least 0.6

Tombstone piece is still too strong and needs a rework.

    My suggestion:

    Tombstone piece

    • The shape can transition into evil within 1 from evil within 2 at will. If the shape is spotted by a survivor while in evil within 1, that survivor is revealed to the shape via killer instinct for as long as the survivor has clear vision on the shape and / or the shape enters chase with that survivor.

I think it also helps balance his strength on the indoor/outdoor maps. The larger benefit on stalking distance helps him on outdoor maps, and his lower terror radius still helps him on indoor maps. Because before these changes, it was just "this killer should always just be on indoor maps 100%, because there's zero reason to ever be outside".

If the close range stalking speed gets buffed, then his tombstone and tier 3 addons would need to be nerfed again. Currently, those addons are balanced upon the fact that it's difficult to gain the very large amount of stalking points in a chase.

As someone who never uses those addons, they could be deleted and I wouldn't care.
