The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

The changes to Myers are good, but I'd like to go a bit further.

First of all, thank you, devs. A big majority of the changes made to Myers are awesome and were needed. But, I'd like to add some. Enjoy.

Base-kit:

• Increase the lunge duration in Tier I to 0,3 seconds. (Boyfriend's Memo basekit)
• Stalk points on survivors now passively recharge when preforming actions or being on the hook.
• Now, tiering up is caused by pressing a button, instead of only filling the power gauge. Tiering up will slow the Shape down slightly for a moment.
• Add an additional effect to Tier III - a 15% faster pallet/wall/gen breaking speed.

Add-ons:

Fragrant Tuft of Hair (Buff):
• Now only increases the amount of stalk needed to get to Tier III by 300%.

Judith's Tombstone (Buff):
• Now only increases the amount of stalk needed to get to Tier III by 300%.

Tombstone Piece (Nerf):
• Now, you can only kill a survivor after fully stalking them. The survivor gets notified when they become fully stalked.
• Now also increases the speed at which Stalk recharges on survivors by 50%

Vanity Mirror (Extra effect):
• Stalking survivors in Tier II will charge a secondary ability. The amount of stalk needed is identical to Tier III's activation condition. Once charged, the next time you kick a generator, it will regress by an extra 4%

Lock of Hair (Rework):
• Hitting a survivor while in Tier III extends it's duration by 6 seconds.

Jewellery Box (Rework):
• Decreases the cooldown of basic attacks by 15% while in Tier III.

Mirror Shard (Rework):
• After tiering up, all survivors in your Terror Radius healing or repairing get a difficult skill check.

Hairbrush (Buff):
• Now, it only increases the amount of Stalk needed to get to Tier III for the first time by 40%

Jewellery (Rework):
• Increases your vaulting speed by 15% while in Tier II.

Reflective Fragment (Rework):
• Tiering up causes all survivors in your terror radius to scream and reveal their location.

Glass Fragment (Buff):
• Now, it's also active in Tier II.

Boyfriend's Memo (Rework):
• Increases your movement speed while stalking by 40%

Blond Hair (Rework):
• Hooking a survivor recharges 10% of Tier III.

Tacky Earrings (Rework):
• Increases your pallet/generator/breakable wall breaking speed by additional 7% while in Tier III.

Thumbs up to all these suggestions.

The changes we got are an excellent start, and Mikey will feel a lot better to play, but we need more. Also can we PLEASE get an activation prompt for tier 3, like with Oni's power.

    Love these overall!

Would love to see Myers be able to utilise more stealth options with the ability to switch between EW1 and EW2 at will once you have enough stalk charged

I'm loving these changes and I fully endorse them.

Furthermore, I think some of these values could be tuned down a little bit, like the T3 hit cooldown to 8% and make it non-stackable with perks just like old shadowborn/monitor with other fov increases. This and the break speed increases from 15% and 7% to 12%/5% respectively.

Other slight changes I'd make is the vault speed in T2 addon redesign from 15% to 8 or 10%, just to make it not unbearable when paired with bamboozle, superior anatomy, or both!

I also feel like the iri's should both be 275% each, so it doesn't completely kill the playstyle or to grind the Evil Incarnate achievement, but then also reduce the movement speed penalty to 7% to compensate. There is no need to butcher the iri's completely for the sole purpose of de-incentivising using both iri's together.

    Apart from that, looks good!

  • Some great ideas here though I'd prefer Tier 1 not having a lunge penalty altogether.

Don't understand why Scratched Mirror gets a nerf, its a meme add on as it is and only works on indoor maps.

    Thanks for commenting!

So, about the number buffs add-ons, I can absolutely tone them down. I have no problem with the green one being 8%. But I would let it stack with STBFL. It wouldn't be a big deal imo. The yellow add-on nerf also seems fair. As for the brown add-on, I'll keep it as is, but reduce the base-kit breaking boost to 10%.

And as for the iri add-ons, I think they would be fine even at 300%. At least Tombstone would. Tuft Of Hair could go to 275%.
