SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: All the bugs related to Snug I saw while playing Houndmaster in PTB

PLATFORM: Steam

  1. Snug interrupts the capture command, without even leaving the survivors hindered, if they drop from a big height
  2. Snug can not follow the Houndmaster and orders get canceled and give you a cooldown if he gets stuck behind a wall after he went far from her
  3. If the survivor vaults at the same moment Snug vaults, there's no hit happening
  4. Sometimes the pathing doesn't match what is shown with the preview
  5. If you try to redirect Snug right before a vault, the vault still happens during the camera transition and negates the redirecting command
  6. Redirecting sometimes is not even possible and the killer player is slowed down for a bit

For many of these options I feel like making Snug spawning always in front of the Houndmaster when a command is happening would solve the issues related to the dog moving by themselves far from the killer.

About the point number 5, it would be nice if Redirecting would get the priority over the vault and canceling it: the killer is already requiring a lot of accuracy and timing, but that interaction is so weird that it negates skill expression, etc…

    Given her lore I don't see why they couldn't go with a more obvious fog construct route for snug: vanishes into and out of a black mist. If not only for edge-case scenarios when a timer runs out (and it default teleports snug back to The Houndmaster).

    Perhaps the doggo is a foggy boi, perhaps somehow managed to utilize it, or the philosophical complications of something fully reconstructed by the fog.

    So, apparently they do already have an edge-case "redeploy" of snug already:

    (seems to occur if he hasn't returned after 12 seconds from search)

    And NGL would be so much cooler if that were a more prominent part of the power: Phase-beast doggo.
