All-Shaking Thunder Should Only Trigger Once Per Proc

All-Shaking Thunder completely outshines Coup de Grac tenfold. This is because it is really easy to trigger, and can be used multiple times per drop.

I think the cooldown should either be increased from 5 seconds, or that the extended lunge can only work once per proc rather than for the entire duration it’s active for.

Just increase the cooldown to 20-30 sec.

I agree. You should only get 1 increased lunge per activation. If you miss your giga-lunge you shouldn't be rewarded by being able to do it again.

If that change is made then I'd say keeping the cooldown at 5 seconds is alright.

Out of the few games I had it put on, it triggered maybe twice.

The problem is that you need a map that has an accesible main building, or a two story one.

I think the perk is really funny, and I mainly use balanced landing on survivor side, though it does raise the question with perks like this and the buffs to base chase since it got changed, maybe we could start looking at old Balanced landing too? Now that killers have ways to reduce landing lag with or without this perk.

I want to see this perk on live before I have an opinion on it, on ptb it was fun to use but it didn't really break a match.

It's literally just Killer Balanced Landing and it's equally situational; it's fine.

Plus the extendolunge is really, really fun. :)

    "Thunder Thighs"

I'm calling it this now and forever, thanks for the laugh @ReverseVelocity! 🤣

Yeah, agree, let's nerf extremely situational mediocre and map dependent perks, which announce itself, even before release, so killers don't even try to remember it exists and just use slowdowns only as usual.
Let us know when killer will be allowed to have value from perk at least once per match.

My intent of asking for the nerf is that this perk is essentially an on-demand coup if a player goes out of their way to activate it.

Especially if put on a high-mobility killer, I think it's fair to say that you should only have one opportunity to get a massive swing per use of the perk. If you miss, you miss and should have to activate it again just like Coup.

But missed and even successful hits don't deactivate the perk.

I've never implied that the perk is overpowered, but I think it could very easily become an incredibly unfun perk to go against and I want to see the parameters reigned in so it doesn't feel too bad and unpreventable to be on the receiving end of.

Survivors: Why killers take perks only for generators and aura
Also survivors when the killer gets a new perk:

Just let killers do their funny plays of jumping out of windows. It's map-dependent, it's allowed to have some power behind it, especially when we have maps so flat that the only drop you can find is the shack basement stairway.

The perk is extremly map dependent because maps like family residence, auto heaven, or ataroth can only have one hill and this one can be on the edge of the map. However, on maps like Saloon, Midwich, or RPD you can trigger it reliable. Coup de Grac is much more reliable. Overall, this perk will have a really low pickrate because it is map dependent and only works on the weaker M1 killers.

So in my opinion, the developers should make this perk more reliable instead of nerfing it just because it is strong on some maps. Maybe it can work like a Spirit Fury: If you break two pallets, you gain two tokens or be a hook based perk like "After hooking a survivor, for the next 30seconds you have a longer lunge attack". This would add a fair condition and makes the perk more reliable for the killer.
