Houndmaster is fun but unreliable and weak

The hit detection on the chase feels inconsistent, sometimes it feels generous other times it feels too unforgiving. There's also bugs with the dog getting stuck often. This results in the cooldown being very inconsistent, because it only starts when it has successfully returned to you. This should be normalised in my opinion.

The search ability needs a lot of work. The range is completely too small and avoidable by survivors. And it detects survivors that are far away from you but once they leave the range you don't know where they are. You also send the dog to far away gens but this doesn't stop the survivors from doing it, because the dog will not attack or hold the survivors.

Houndsense is too weak, i don't think you should have to get an injure/down to have the effects be applied. That doesn't really help you find them in the first place.

When it comes to add-ons the one that gives you 40% cooldown reduction on dog hits seems pretty overpowered. Everything else doesn't seem too good.

I think if this killer doesn't get major improvements and fixes they won't be played for long. But the good news is, is that they are really fun and fresh to play. They are absolutely worth developing further.

Yeah, another m1 killer that has remixed powers of other killers isn't really fun.
