EasyAntiCheat Crashes File Explorer.exe

Hey there!
Writing this because I spend a few days trying to fix and launch DBD
Tried all other methods that I can find, non of the solution works
(Happens during Soma Cruz patch)
Issue: EAC window opens and after EAC finish loading the window closes but nothing happens, while steam shows that DBD is running, at the same time that also crashes file explorer.exe (making me unable shut down or restart PC the normal way)

Found a documentation about EAC from epicgames (I am playing on steam) and apply the fix to steam DBD

  1. Steam > DBD > Manage > Browse local files > Go into EasyAntiCheat folder
  2. Copy the Directory
  3. Open Command Prompt and type in
    1. cd PasteLocationHere
    2. EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe qa-factory-reset
      1. Note: Make sure the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe in folder is the same as the command
      2. Or type Easy and hit "tab" on your keyboard and type in qa-factory-reset

This will factory reset Easy Anti Cheat to it's base state

Check the status of Easy Anti Cheat

  1. Open Command Prompt and type in
    1. sc query EasyAntiCheat_EOS
      1. It should return something with service does not exist
  2. Windows Key > type in registry editor
    1. HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\EasyAntiCheat_EOS\
      1. You should not be able to find this entry in your registry
