[feedback] Invocation: Treacherous Crows

I personally strongly believe it doesn't requires a buff to its aura-reading duration as we have Eyes Of The Belmont perk, which will extend that aura-reading by 2 seconds.

I also am unsure if they will ever allow for temporary broken status from an invocation perk. So I personally think, if the broken status is to remain permanent, there needs to be a 4th perk for Taurie Cain that just involves invocations. Like as a example of what I mean.

Otherworldly Insight
You are not like others who merely dabble in such magics from beyond the veil, for you intimately know how to properly invoke such things.
* Starts the Trial with 1 token.
* You suppress your urges to scream while performing an invocation and are not interrupted by such urges.
* If you would become broken from completing an invocation, this perk loses 1 token instead. You still automatically enter the injured state from completing an invocation.

My logic for a hypothetical perk like Otherworldly Insight, is that:
1) Its a perk that provides an incentive in solo play to use invocations if a player decides to bring it and also less of a perk that makes invocation perks feel detrimental unless with a SWF.
2) It provides an incentive for teammates who participated with you to also heal you if you are down there. And would also have synergy with Strength in Shadows (Sable Ward) as a way to self-heal as you already would be in the basement, or at the very least a medkit that you brought with you.
3) The scream suppression while performing an invocation is to avoid drawing the killer's attention if they perks, powers, or add-ons that cause screaming. And if a survivor wants to continue have that benefit, of no screaming outside of invocation performing, they should equip either Calm Spirit (Jake Park) or Hardened (Lara Croft).
4) Its a perk that effectively deactivates itself once an invocation is completed as it served its purpose. And by extension frees up two other perk slots for however the survivor may wish to experiment.

As right now the perk build I think that even makes this invocation perk have any potential usage is the following: Calm Spirit (you don't alert crows), No Mither (no pools of blood, reduced grunts), Eyes of the Belmont (or Iron Will for zero grunts of pain), and Invocation - Treacherous Crows.

As such a build, solo or swf, that can be done on the ptb now basically makes you into a survivor who purposefully stays in the killer's terror radius and just follows them around from a relatively safe distance. Your not doing gens but you are very likely going to get your teammates aura-reading information so that might keep them safe, although thats not a guarntee if they are killer with stealth powers, addons, or perks.

I just think temporary broken needs to be a thing, the perk already has so many downsides to it. Or even after every unhook you are broken for a minute

Yeah. Its kind of the 1.0.0 Calm Spirit of invocations right now. Broken being removable/temporary would be a lot easier to work with and would have better inherit mesh with Clean Break.

I think broken is a bad effect for this. Personally, if a survivor perk gives a perm benefit to ALL survivors and the only requirement is time spent then the counterbalance should also be a perm debuff, but broken is not it.

Because this perk gives ALL survivors aura read when ANY survivor is in chase and the killer disturbs a crow, the debuff should also be aura related. I saw one suggestion that I really like. The survivor who invoked the perk has perm. blindness for the remainder of the trial. So, by giving aura to the team, they in turn lose aura reading.

That of course is just one suggestion, there have been others as well. Like a reversed effect when chasing the suvivor who invoked. So that survivors aura is revealed to the killer when they disturb a crow while in case. Etc.

Either way, broken is not appropriate for this invocation.

Let's be real this perk is a worse wiretap with a huge downside in cases. I get gen progress with wiretap and I can combo it with other perks to make it harder to get rid of.

This perk is an utter failure if it goes live like this.
