invocation: Treacherous Crows buff idea
Keep Invocation: Treacherous Crows as is, and make it so that once the Invocation is completed, the killer aura will be revealed whenever the killer scares a crow for 2 seconds, whether the killer is affected by Undetectable or not.
In other words, this perk can break through the Undetectable effect and reveal its killer aura to survivors.
Before you jump into the comments and write a comment at the speed of light, remember that survivors need to stay in the basement for 60 seconds and after that they are affected by the broken effect for the rest of the match.
So it should be high risk high reward.

giving so much to have a worse wiretap, is just not appealing to me LMAO

yeah these invocation perks are always so bad where they give you literally. Or hint for a huge downside. Another killer invocation perk that I’m not gonna run.

And what if we removed the terror radius requirement and made it so it makes the survivor doing the ritual Oblivious instead of Broken?

What's the point of a perk if that's the case? It makes you completely dependent on your team to take advantage of this perk.
If you do not know the Oblivious effect , it makes you not hear the terror radius, and even if you are within the terror radius, the game considers you outside the terror radius.

Undetectable exists for a reason, letting it bypass that would probably make it too annoying for stealth killers.
What I would do is increase the aura duration to 3 seconds and remove the terror radius requirement (ie. the perk activates any time the killer disturbs a crow regardless of where they are). At 2 seconds on the PTB it basically feels like Eyes of Belmont is required to be used to make it more useful, otherwise the aura is a little easy to miss and doesn't last long enough.

What the hell did Stealth Killers do to you to deserve this? Surely Pig, Ghostface, and Chucky don't deserve to have their whole power countered this way?
Absolutely not. The Devs have worked to try and remove perks that counter a Killer entirely. This 100% cannot and will not happen. Even suggesting it is ludicrous.

Their stealth does nothing against the very alert and cautious survivor, the slightest sound or even seeing a small part of the killer's body is enough to destroy all of their stealth.
Chucky was the hardest because he short.
They also rely on maps, literally fixing a generator in an open area nullifies all of their stealth.
They are also somewhat predictable, meaning you don't expect a stealthy killers moving in an open area.
So for me your argument is weak.
And if you want my opinion, Ghostface is the easiest killer I've faced, then comes Pig, then Chucky.

Having it be a very powerful counter to very specific killers, perks and add-ons would just be feel-bad design all around, really. I don't think this is the fix.
Honestly, as long as Invocations take 60 seconds and cause permabroken, there's nothing you can really do to fix 'em.

So then you should agree that making Treacherous Crows give read every time the Killer disturbs a Crow isn't necessary because it hard counters these already weak Killers (with the exception of Chucky who has strong antiloop).

I brought up the same idea. :D
Glad I'm not the only one to think of this.
Edit: Also, it doesn't really effect some stealth killers. Wraith and GF/Pig crouched don't scare crows while Myers, Sadako and Chucky do. I think making it so the latter 3 don't scare crow would make the perk fine. It doesn't hurt stealth killers but instead is a counter to undetectable.

It's not a big deal, stealth killers need to get very close to the crows to be scared, try with Wraith where you need to be close to the crow about 2 meters or less for it to be scared of you.
You will also see a red perk icon as a warning, so keep that in mind.

You probably missed the part where I wrote that the terror radius requirement should be removed.

Yeah I don't know how I missed that, I'm blind🤦🏻♂️

It does, and yes, they do. I play both. You are slower crouched, crouching to avoid crows should never be something the Killer has to worry about when they worry about enough already.
It does hurt Stealth Killers. They cannot and will not do what this thread is suggesting because it directly nerfs stealth Killers by negating their power HARD. That's why we removed what old Spine Chill did.

It is that big of a deal. It totally negates their power, that being staying hidden. It negates it the WHOLE ROUND, that isn't even remotely OK.
BHVR doesn't want perks that can totally counter Killer powers entirely. This change would do that.
