I really want a Dev to answer us about the Ghostface changes.
What is their thinking? Do they really think this is enough? Just two addons basekitted? That makes him less burdened, but not any more viable.
Do the Devs plan any more fixes? His Reveal mechanic being frustrating for both sides? His leaning being bugged to high heaven? His lack of any meaningful tools to pressure mapwide or even get around big maps? The lack of any antiloop? ANYTHING?

Yeah — I saw the changes and was really underwhelmed - and still am. This is the kind of safe number changes that we should get on a two-weeks bases, and not "once after every midchapter".

this 100%, devs do you see this?

Would be nice to feel heard.

I think it's a pretty good change personally. These two add-ons at the moment are extremely good, adding half of them to basekit means they are still good but make a lot more sense for common add-ons. He has add-ons of higher rarity that are pretty decent that are more viable to run now.

I agree, he become a little bit less reliant on those two add-ons specifically, which is nice!
He still could have gotten a bit more tho, I really like his add-on that makes him faster when marking someone, that one would be wonderful to have base-kit haha.

I know that chuckys is on a timer but it really boggles me how his cooldown is 12 seconds for an anti loop power that is thousand times better than ghosties.
Honestly I think the nightshroud cooldown could just be 10-12 seconds and it would totally be fine, with that just rework the cooldown addon

In reality they changed nothing. The bssekit is much weaker than the original addons, so ghosties will just have to run with the addons anyway as if no change was made just to keep from being nerfed on their most critical stats.

The two addons weren't even basekitted. And they were nerfed so much that running them makes him weaker than before. The changes are nerfs if anything. Should've just committed to implementing the add-ons to basekit and remove the addons or replace them with different effects. I doubt anyone would complain or that he would be too strong or anything.

Especially compared to newer killers. Heck, we have multiple ways a killer can expose survivors and here comes chucky who has stealth, third person camera, a charge, map traversal, and can scamper under pallets.
Ghostie can only m1, and survivors can entirely remove his power. He needs some serious love compared to modern killer designs.

Just make ACTUAL stuff like Cinch Straps, these two add-ons, and Drop-Leg basekit and rework those. Then fix the reveal and lean jank. This is nice but not enough.

Do you actually expect them to answer this? They never answer questions about balance or discuss them on the forum. They only answer questions whether or not something works or when something is wrong. The only answer you will get is when the changes from the ptb get announced.

I have to believe, damn it… ;~;

Yeah. The "make things partially basekit but make the add ons weaker than they were" ######### needs to stop.

I think survivors should have some sort of penalty for revealing him.
Ghostface is like Trapper. Survivors can follow him around all game harassing him. For Trapper, it's disarming his traps. For Ghostface, it's revealing him.
Trapper has really good add-ons to counter this. (Bloody Coil, Iridescent Stone, Oily Coil)
All Ghostface has is Telephoto Lens, and Night Vision Monocular. Both are pretty bad.
I think revealing him should instantly put 20% extra stalk on your meter, to a maximum of 80% total stalk.
Unless he's already stalking you, in which case, revealing him will remove 40% of your stalk progress.
This would make survivors have to make a sacrifice for revealing him. And reward them for revealing him while he's stalking them.

I agree that Reveal should be more punishing overall. It shouldn't be so free if they really can't fix the Reveal mechanic. No Killer should be able to have Survivors lock them out of their power.
