2 questions about cross progression

Hello there!

My friend recently gifted dbd to me on steam after nearly 7k hours on console and just had a couple of questions about cross progression if anyone would be kind enough to answer.

First, how does the display name situation work? If I have a different name on my steam account to my ps account and I'm playing on PC, will it be my steam name that is shown? Or will it be my ps name seeing as that's tied to the original account?

Second, if I were to buy L4D on steam to acquire the t shirts for the OG survivors and then went back to play on console, would those shirts still be in my inventory? Seeing as they're currently exclusive to PC.

These were just a couple of things I was curious about, if anyone is able to answer either of them it would be much appreciated!

    When you play on Steam, it shows your Steam name. When you play on PlayStation, it shows your PlayStation name. However, if you turn Anonymous Mode on/off on one platform, it will also be turned on/off on any other platforms connected to that account.

    I think the Left 4 Dead shirts are limited to the Steam platform and won't cross over. (I'm not 100% positive because I don't own L4D on Steam.)
