Shared mories
I just got an idea about moris in 2v8! I think it's really funny that we get to do them in the mode at all! But wouldn't it be cool if both Killers could be in the mori? A new special mori animation depending on which Killers are in the Trial!
I think it would be really cool, but probably time consuming to do due to all Killers that are able to be mixed up and depending on how would this idea be approached.
What do you think tho?

Ohh, yes. I love this. The possibilities are endless.
Imagine Trapper setting up a trap, forcing the survivor's head into it, and then Huntress planting a hatchet in their skull. Or Blight injects them with the serum and then Deathslinger shoots them and they pop like an overripe fruit. Or the survivor steps into a trap, struggles and starts panicking, and then Wraith emerges from invisibility behind them and cleaves them with Azarov's Skull.

This would definitely lead to slugging for 8k :(

"Which is a bad thing, because the killers would be winning!" Lol.

Can’t survivors pick themselves up if they’ve been caged once in 2v8?

I'm not sure what you're talking about.

I don't know if they enabled that this time. I remember that last time, you could do self-heal, but I remember slugging for 8k in the last 2v8 too, so I think you couldn't do full self pickup previously.

You put a sad face, so you'd consider killers slugging to get a mori a bad thing, right?
If so, you have an issue with killers winning. The back and forth between hooking and unhooking the last 3-4 people, takes about as long or more than the killers just slugging, because most times the survivors have lost either way.

"Winning" and getting a mori aren't the same thing. And neither are related to slugging for 8k or even to slugging for 4k, except that the killer player has to have sacrificed 3 or 5 survivors to get to that state (depending on the game mode).
But the actual practice of slugging for 4k or for 8k isn't about "winning." It's about getting an easy kill at the expense of the experience of two or three players (again depending on the game mode).

But it is about winning, and it's not easy. You've ignored what I said. The struggle that killers and survivors have to do against each other, whether it's a hooking situation (closing out the game normally) or a slugging situation, is about the same. If the survivors are good, it's gonna be hard for the killers, and maybe even they'll escape. If they're bad, they lose either way. You underestimate how well killers have to play for the slug to pay off and not be recovered from. I think yours is a purely emotional argument, talking about supposed "misery" which only 1 side experiences (but not the other?), in situations where good survivors will fight hard/overcome, and bad ones are just mad because they lost, regardless of method.

Slugging for 4k and slugging for 8k aren't about winning. Once you're able to use those tactics, the game is already "won" by the killer.
Regarding the difficulty of pulling off a slug for 4k, I play killer often, and I slug bully squads for 4k, but never anyone else. It's generally very easy for me to get the payoff in that scenario. I have also accidentally put myself in slug for 4k scenarios against others, but if I do that against a team that wasn't explicitly going out of their way to harass me, I'll just let the last two live. Slug for 4k is really a maneuver that just oppresses the last two survivor players, barely letting them do anything.
Hatch race makes it somewhat less likely that you'll get the same result, and killers that slug for 4k don't want to give that fighting chance to the last survivor. Having said that, the ease of pulling off a slug for 4k is somewhat killer dependent. High mobility and stealth killers can manage it somewhat more easily than others.
Also, some people are posting purely out of emotion, but that's not what I did here. I said nothing about "winning" or "losing" until you mentioned it :) I simply stated that joint moris will almost certainly increase incidences of slug for 8k. That is very likely true.

Ya'll are aware this is already a thing, right?

I meant shared mories in the sence of both Killers being involved in the mori animation (so a completely new one), not only one playing their original animation, of course right now you can have one Killer perform the mori whilst the other just spins there waiting for you to finish haha

Trickster doing his mori, and when he throws his last knife in the air for the final straight down shot, Blight does the same thing with his syringe.
