I'm ashamed of myself for buying dbd

2016 and played since the dbd beta version came out. I played against John Wolfe once in the beta. The game was in a odd place but it was fun nonetheless. Since then I played on occassion not to let it preoccupy too much of my life but this time, I deleted this game. Not out of frustration, burnt out or boredom but because I don't saw any major improvements and quality of life updates over the last 8 years. I used to lurk the forums and I know @Pulsar made a thread that became so big, it blew my mind but there was no response from BHVR themselves. I still don't know why. That thread was about lack of optimizations and hampering player's fun. It pretty much sums up the whole problem that is Dead by Daylight and I felt awful, every day I felt bad for owning this game knowing there will be no improvements made. Knowing greater potentials will never be reached until they get some encouragement. We're still left with an awful menu selection and portraits. Bad navigations. Lack of QoL, optimizations and improvements for console and PC users alike. Most reworked for maps and killers were or are still an absolute failure and the decision they're making with Skull Merchant is a preview of what's to come. I wish this game was better but it continuously disappoints me at the end and that feeling sucks.

Sorry for the rant. If I said anything offensive, please, let me know and I'll edit it. Thank you.

Please stop playing the game and do some serious soul-searching if this truly makes you feel ashamed, it's just a game dude…

I would be more ashamed for choosing a title like this, that last line and more importantly making an account for both. Being disappointed is fine but displaying it in this way is depressing.
