2v8

I went back to the standard mode to do a few of the new archives and hated it. Same old perks and sweaty game play from my opponents. We need 2v8 queue time to be fixed or make Perk Randomizer permanent. Regular mode sucks. I've been playing everyday for a few hours and when the event ends… peace out. Sweaty gamepksy, must win mentality is annoying and mostly makes me not want to play.

In 2v8 and perk Randomizer, people understand that they didn't lose to a skill issue and it makes people play in a funner way.

I know everyone doesn't share my opinion, but chill gameplay makes me play more.

I appreciate everyone who doesn't think that winning at all cost is the only way to have fun

I think it's very possible to have fun and win in 1v4. The problem is nobody else seems to think so.

But for what it's worth I feel like all my games in 1v4 both sides have felt better than 2v8. That's just my experience.

Very true, I just wanna have fun for a couple hours, I get competitive sometimes, but realistically, I'm happy to die in the end game if it means they'll escape. And on killer, I love to laugh at them tea bagging me because they assumed I'd be camping, but really, I was chasing, and the others chose not to save their team mate

Personally I still love playing 1v4 and still prefer over 2v8. My issues with 2v8 is I don't have fun playing with a killer teammate who I can't communicate with plus queue times. Like I don't play sweaty when I play dbd(honestly my goal every match is to get two kills) but I also don't want to be paired with someone who not pulling their weight either. That my experience with 2v8, getting a killer teammate who can't pull their weight and I end up doing everything. Just not fun…

The only people who prefer 1v4 are killer mains who need a 60% kill rate and high mmr swfs. The devs are ignoring the vast majority of casuals who play this game if they don't make 2v8 permanent. It's a far superior gameplay experience.

No I prefer 1v4 bc I don't want to deal with a useless killer partners. The reason why I got DBD was bc I like having the ability to play a role by myself and not deal with a random teammate who most likely going to be useless and no pull their weight. The only killers who like 2v8 are killer mains who have a friend they can play with. Solo killer is miserable and not fun. As for survivors very few survivors actually like 2v8 , if survivors actually did enjoy it we wouldn't have queue time problems and there wouldn't be a permanent survivor BP incentive.

1v4 becoming more competitive is what made me stop playing DBD. Back when it wasn't so competitive there would be matches where both the killers and survivors would mess around. Alot of what made DBD fun was removed for more sweaty games.

2v8 is more chaotic and fun, it reminds me more of the old DBD I fell in love with. Even when sweaty you still feel like you have a shot. One survivor dying early doesn't ruin the match for everyone else. A killer has backup if they're struggling. Dying doesn't feel as bad in 2v8 because odds are you actually were able to play the game for a bit and there's no extended laying on the ground doing nothing. Unless the killer team is extremely coordinated and the survivors don't touch gens there's no 8k at 8 gens.

I prefer 1v4 as Survivor because I can use the actual perks I actually paid for, BP offerings, and the mode isn't as info overload as 2v8. I PREFER 1v4 and think it's the superior gameplay experience for both sides by far.

The reaction this time was mixed, I'm sorry to say. It had flaws this time it didn't have before and needs much more work before it comes back IMHO.
