Why do some Doomed Course cosmetics not have a shard price?

I've been hoarding shards in preparation for this chapter (among other things) and was kind of saddened to find out that both of Taurie's very rare cosmetics and Houndmaster's visceral are not available for shards yet, while the other, lesser rarity cosmetics are.

Now I've got to wait 4 weeks before being able to acquire them :(.

    Very disappointing honestly. These aren't licenced characters and BHVR committed themselves to making original content free if you have the shards awhile ago. Even if they'll be available for shards soon, it's just kinda lame that people have to wait when their method was spending time playing the game instead of just sighing and opening their wallet.

    I actually really like this skin and will definitely be getting it when it's available, and I obviously don't fault anyone who has or will purchase it with cells or shards. It's just a sad trope of modern gaming that unfortunately found its way here.

    Very Rare and higher skins never have a shard cost when they are first released. They will in a month.

    Yes, I know you did kind of say this, but this policy is nothing new.

    Alright, thanks everyone for your explanation :)

    We've had so few original survivors lately (Gabriel and Sable are the only ones these past couple of chapters) that I must have forgotten how this works.

    Now I know. So, I just have to be patient, is all!
