General Perk Ideas
Hex: Corrupted Camaraderie
You can make any pair turn against each other
After injuring a survivor a dull totem will be lit up
The survivor who was injured and the survivor who was nearest to them both become cursed and gain the following effects if they are in a 36 meter radius with each other:
- They become broken (deactivates when there are 2 or less survivors left)
- They gain a 15% speed decrease while working on generators or healing
- They cannot read your aura
If they are not in a 36 meter radius with each other:
- They can see the aura of the Hex Totem
- They have 5% increased healing speed

Hex: Damnation
A Hex that affects Survivors in dangerous ways.
When there are at least 4/3/2 Injured Survivors, all injured survivors become Exhausted
When there are at least 4/3/2 Healthy Survivors, all healthy survivors become Oblivious
All effects of the Hex Perk persist until the related Hex Totem is cleansed or blessed.
Scourge Hook: Hivemind
Thousands of Trials have given you the ability to monitor your Web of Hooks more efficiently.
At the Start of the Trial, 4 Random Hooks are turned into Scourge Hooks:
- Their Auras are revealed to you in white
While a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the following Effects apply:
- You gain a Loud Noise Notification whenever a Survivor comes within 8 meters of any Hook.This effect can only happen every 30/25/20 seconds.
- Whenever a Survivor comes within 8 meters of a Scourge Hook, their Auras are revealed to you for 3 seconds. This effect can only happen every 60/50/40 seconds.
Survivor Perk: Breakthrough
Everytime a generator is repaired, gain a token.
The amount of Tokens you have affect your Gen Repairing Speed
- 0 Tokens: -20%
- 1 Token: -10%
- 2 Tokens: +0%
- 3 Tokens: +10%
- 4 Tokens: +20%
Once you have gained 5 Tokens, gain the Endurance Status Effect for the Next 50/60/70 Seconds.
Survivor Perk: Safety First
You know when a situation is dangerous
While 16/20/24 meters near a hooked survivor, you gain the following effects:
- 5 percent haste
- 25 % increased vaulting speed
- You see the aura of the Killer, while they are in a chase

Survivor Perk: Determination
Once you start something, you know how to finish it
After working generators for a total of 70/60/50%, Determination activates.
While working on a generator, press the Active Ability 2 to apply the following effects:
- You can no longer be grabbed while working on this gen
- You can see it’s aura in a 128 meter radius
- You gain a 15% repair increase while on this generator
- The generator nearest to that generator is blocked to you
These effects stay till the affected generator is completed. Only 1 gen may be affected at a time.
Survivor Perk: Perseverance
Your knowledge has helped you go through tough times, and you’re stronger for it.
You gain a token every time you are hit by a Basic Attack, up to a maximum of 5/6/7 tokens.
Each token increases your movement speed by 1%. You lose a token every time you perform a Conspicuous Action. Once you have collected 5 tokens, Perseverance shields you from losing a Health State and consumes 5 tokens the next time you are hit by a Basic Attack.
You cannot gain Tokens if you are the last survivor in the trial.
Survivor Perk: Survivance
When danger is near, your senses are heightened, and when the stakes are raised, you gain extraordinary abilities.
Survival activates when you are 24/36/48 meters close to the killer:
- You see the killer’s aura while they are chasing another survivor
- If they start a chase with you, you see their aura for the next 5/6/7 seconds
If you are the last survivor in the trial or when the Exit Gates are powered:
- Allows you to Heal yourself without a Med-Kit at 50/60/70% of Base Healing Speed as long as Survivance is activated. This can only be done once per trial.
Boon: Refuge
You’ve learned how to catch your breath during stressful moments, and others will too.
Press and hold the Active Ability button on a Dull or Hex Totem to bless it and create a Boon Totem
Soft chimes ring out in a radius of 24 meters. All Survivors benefit from the following effects when inside the Boon Totem's radius:
- Increases your Recovery rate from the Blindness, Broken, Exhausted , Exposed, Haemorrhage, Hindered, Mangled, and Oblivious Status Effects by 50/60/70%.
- Your aura is shielded from the Killer
- If you are injured, increases your Healing Progress by 1% per second, up to a maximum of 50%
Survivors can only be affected by one instance of Boon: Refuge at a time.
Only one Totem can be blessed by your Boon Perks at a time and all of their effects are active on the same Boon Totem.
Final Fight
This perk activates once you are on hook away from death and are the last survivor in the trial.
Press the Active Ability Button 1 to gain Endurance for 3 seconds. Once those 3 seconds are over, you break into a sprint at 150% of your base running speed for 5/6/7 seconds. During this time you see the Hatch’s Aura. If the Hatch is closed, it is automatically opened.
Causes Exhausted for the rest of the trial. Cannot be used while Exhausted.
